Frontier support is not exisent. I want a refund

Try changing your graphics options and search bug forum for help while waiting. FD have been working day and night lately for some time now. They have quite a few tickets to handle. If you are still after a month without response/help, then you can ask for a refund, not couple of days. The problem can be bug in the game, it can also be problem with your computer/connection... Hope you can sort the problem soon!!

6 hours to diagnose why your pc won't play a game your friends can. Honestly? 6 full hours, and I am sure they all stopped working other issues they got before yours just to solve your issue. Did you try msconfig and turn off programs not needed, rebooted and see if that helped? Try the latest video card driver? Did you try by passing the router if possible and plug directly into the modem? I know sometimes they are integrated but not always as mine isn't. There is still a lot you can do on your end. My guess is a software conflict, so disable any unneeded software and try a few more things.

ok i wait now for monday. and when it isnt working i will get my money back WITH force i dont care.
i dont wait a month. because a company cant produce a RUNNING product. not a bug free programm A RUNNING program.
and people who dont understand that just embarasses

If I had a customer with this attitude and language their support ticket would go to the back of the queue, then 3 days later when it had reached the top of the queue, id push it down to the back of the queue again.

I've submitted tickets and never received a response. No documentation, no manuals, no support.

get a life terminatahx.... plz. Do yourself (and us) a favor and move to another game for the new year.
You're on the verge of a spychotic breakdown so I say so for your mental health which does not seem really solid in the first place.

Yeah, good luck with getting your money back "with force".

And clearly the product is running. I can play it, thousands of others seem to be having nor problem.

The thing is, you asked for support, they responded. You sent them more info, now you have to wait for them to diagnose your problem and figure out why it doesn't work for you.

Out of curiosity (and since no offense, but you seem quite impatient) but how long did you leave it loading before you crashed it out? The tutorial loads a LOT faster than the main game. If your PC is on the lower end of the spec, it might simply be taking some time to load. Have you tried clicking Open Play, then going and eating dinner (or perhaps taking a cold shower to calm yourself down)? It might just need a little time.

Anger issues?
I read all posts on this and people have been pretty constructive on the whole, but nothing anyone says is going to sate his rage hunger.

But I'm hitting ignore on the OP, and wishing him well in his future PC gaming experience, which as we all know is never prone to headscratching random technical issues.

If want support in the absence of FD then need to tell people here config etc...be surprised just how much people can help.

Did you try what I posted previously then? Did it not help?

I always find it funny, people comparing a software purchase to buying a car. Now, if they had bought the whole computer with the game installed, then it's like buying a car, you bought the whole package and it ought to work (that said, you can still have a fault, see how long the shop takes to fix it when you take it back in....)

As it is, you are buying an exhaust system to fit on a car that you own, where the exhaust maker has no idea what car you have, what engine you have, etc etc. Given that PCs vary so wildly in their hardware and their software, there are bound to be issues. If the issues are in the majority, then the game is broken. If they are in the minority, then it is just problems with specific compatibilities that are inevitable when fitting something into an unknown system. And yes, software support takes time, even a minority will be a large number of tickets with a large number of purchasers.

I hope the OP gets it resolved soon, and yes, share details here and maybe some of the geniuses who play can help out! A lot of us know quite a bit about PCs!

I would love to see the tone of the tickets you submitted OP.. I had a problem on day 1, submitted a ticket, got a response in an hour and 2 days later, after some back and forth with a really polite and knowledgable lady called Lucy, got to the bottom of the problem and it runs flawlessly now.. I was polite throughout. I suggest you learn some patience or go and watch TV for a few days. It's software for a PC. It's not an Xbox or PS4 game where every single platform is the same, it's software that has to run on 20+ versions of windows with thousands of different hardware combinations! My issue was down to the management software that came with my ethernet card! They found it in the end through the logs I submitted and here i am, in my viper..! ;)

Grow some patience. Or just buy a console..

It really sounds like an issue with your PC or at least your network settings. Try validating your files like was suggested before and if that doesn't work, post the specs of you computer. Maybe someone can help you resolve it instead of just throwing a hissy fit because your ticket hasn't been resolved. I image Frontier isn't a massive company with a thousand employees answering bug reports and support tickets. You said yourself that they at least responded and said they're looking into it for you. Just wait it out, because chances are it won't be a month before it's resolved. Chances are, it'll only be a few days maybe slightly longer.

Although, I imagine if you're this worked up over a six hour wait I'd hate to see how worked up you get when you have to wait in line to dock at a station for a few minutes.

Hi OP, as you know that your friends are playing ok, and FDev are very busy with their post-release schedule, how's about we diagnose your connectivity issues here. Please post your computer specification information (in a [ spoiler ] tag to limit spamming the thread) - in ED launcher goto Options>DisplayHardwareSurvey. Also post the brand/model of your internet router, and the results from speedtest.net. Finally post a full list (cropped screenshot would be quickest) of everything running in Windows's Task Manager.

This will be more constructive than getting angry with FDev & other CMDRs, while hopefully we can help you resolve your connectivity issues and get you joining us in-game :)
