I always find it funny, people comparing a software purchase to buying a car. Now, if they had bought the whole computer with the game installed, then it's like buying a car, you bought the whole package and it ought to work (that said, you can still have a fault, see how long the shop takes to fix it when you take it back in....)
As it is, you are buying an exhaust system to fit on a car that you own, where the exhaust maker has no idea what car you have, what engine you have, etc etc. Given that PCs vary so wildly in their hardware and their software, there are bound to be issues. If the issues are in the majority, then the game is broken. If they are in the minority, then it is just problems with specific compatibilities that are inevitable when fitting something into an unknown system. And yes, software support takes time, even a minority will be a large number of tickets with a large number of purchasers.
I hope the OP gets it resolved soon, and yes, share details here and maybe some of the geniuses who play can help out! A lot of us know quite a bit about PCs!
