Very much so. One would wish that part that interested people was "this tv person that we dig is doing this interesting live stream" and not the "her gender is female" part.

No, I had to delete a load of posts that were essentially misogynistic and demeaning, JeffRyan was referring to those.

For the avoidance of doubt, we don't tolerate that sort of nonsense, so if you see it, report it and we'll deal with it.

I don't even mind the odd post or people referring to her gender (though people acting like 14 year olds because of it isn't a high point either), but a couple of posts went too far even for me.

PS. By all means make her earn her combat wings.

You should be ashamed of yourself. She is doing this for a very good cause. This has nothing to do with her association with the BBC. Its disgraceful that anybody would want to make her journey to Slough anymore difficult than it would be for a normal player. I find it bloody annoying that she was rammed into last night because people just can't leave her alone to do the event.

Do you think she will have patience to continue if all she ever has to contend with is idiots pulling her out of SC?

For those ignorant of the fact - or just forgetting why she is doing this... Do some research.

I messaged her on twitch about this after I missed the first stream. She replied saying she forgot or was unable to archive the first ( can't log in to check exactly ATM), but she would be doing so for future streams and uploading to youtube.

However after last nights I still couldn't see any past broadcasts either. Hopefully she'll get it sorted out, would have liked to have reviewed the collision that destroyed her as I looked away at that moment and really want to try and understand what happened. I'm pretty sure it wasn't deliberate, but wanted to see if it was an issue with the game or just bad luck.

Edit: Her actual reply was 'sadly I didn't have it recording to a saved back up'.

Yeah ditto.

I mean there's a lot to talk about here in one way or another, it would be great to have the footage available. She needs to rope one of the Click techies in or "borrow" some recording equipment or something. =p

I've message her on Twitter, perhaps another message might prompt her to get it resolved.

Why make a fuss about people making a fuss about someone that they are keen on? There are plenty of fandoms out there that I am not interested in, I don't post put-downs about them just because I'm not into them.

Yeah, that was hard to watch. And hard to confess to, I just wanted to crawl into a hole and disappear. I feel bad now talking about how I felt, when it was Kate that suffered so much more. I couldn't have made that intercept if I had been trying for it! I've tried ramming NPCs at top speed, it's almost impossible to pull off in open space.
