Sol Capital Ship - Where is it?

I drop into earth orbit, just an Asp and a Hauler there, no trace of the capital ship.
Did it fly away or what?

Yes I know. I made a safe exit into the contact navpoint... but there was an Asp right in front of me, and a Hauler jumped in shortly afterwards... no capital ship though.

Strange... I was in Sol the day before yesterday and I could fly around the capital ship. I didn't take any pictures, but two days ago it was there.

Jump to the carrier as Michael said, and wait a couple of minutes. Sometimes the mighty vessel jumps into system, and trust me you'll know when that happens.

It's not in orbit around Earth anymore? That is a nice touch BTW i love seeing cap ships patrolling important systems and different points of interest for the factions. Would be awesome to see a fleet sometime especially in high security areas like Sol or naval bases.

The way the capital ships always jumps in "just for you" somehow reminds me of some kind of video I've once seen. Can't remember. Ah right this one hehe.

It would really be awesome if the whole "front end simulation" would be more consistent and persistent.

Isn't Farragut the real name of a class of USA warship ?

It's the centre of the Federation - all key systems have a Battlecruiser stationed there.

Some days ago I dropped next to it while it was in earth orbit. Waited for 30-45 seconds and everything was empty. No ship, no nothing.

Then I took the extremely stupid tau ceti "wait for 2 hours in system between stars" quest, cancelled the quest, forgot to dump the 2 silver cargo, got scanned...... Federation rep dropped to rock bottom.

Moved on to be part of the empire then. Slaves here we come
