Personally i dont care however. Im doing my own journey and adventure and i wouldnt get to Elite before others anyway since there will always be people putting more hours into the game then me.

Spend all day yesterday moving Land enrichment systems from Zvaithhogg and returning with tobacco from Ngun, Both very close to main star and with shieldless type-6 (104 cargo) made 200k per round trip (130k for land enrichment and 70k for tobacco). Went from 1m net worth to almost 7m and just got my Asp :).

Plus a lot of the missions were for commodities from each other so also got my rep with 2 factions up to allied!

I'd rather admire your average margin of 1250/t than 25 mil you earned in one day. Taking your cargo space (128) into account and average travel time of 5 mins (between station) it should have taken over 13 hours (!?) to earn that much. I have never played any game in my lifetime that much in one day... No thanks... ;-)

It still es me off they allowed hundreds(thousands?) of people to make massive amounts of cash, then nerfed it for release. Those people are now able to continue to make massive amounts of profit because they have big ships from the start.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are slowly making our way up. I might have a Type 9 in a couple weeks if I play 6+ hours a day, trading non-stop.

At first it irked me. But it does reflect real life, some people in the past have exploited the then current situation and are now mega rich. Sucks that I missed the boat, but I am having fun flying around the universe in an Adder. Haven't read rest of thread so apologies if it has already been said

Probably better in the smaller ships, collecting from Lave, Leesti, Diso and Orrerre, then flying over to Fujin, selling there and collecting in the local systems. Then back to Lave should net you about a million. Nice money and a change from usual trade grind..

But then the grind just becomes endless jumps.

I just got to Fujin. Decided to earn another 500k locally for a major FSD upgrade because to hell with doing all that again anytime soon.

It needn't be a grind. You can kit out a cobra, or asp, to fight and trade 32-60 - depending on the ship - then bounty hunt. When you dock to re-arm, buy rares then go hunting again. Repeat until you have as much stock as you can/want, then do a single trade run for a 500-900k profit.

This is what I do. Doesn't feel like a grind at all.

why do people want people to tell them trade routes? finding good ones is the whole point of trading.....

as soon as people exploit a single route, it'll be obsolete so what's the point?

finding a 1k per ton route is a piece of cake, as long as you get far out of the starter systems....

You don't even need to get that far out. It's pretty simple to find a 1300cr/t both ways trip now that stuff actually goes where it is supposed to. My route with a T9 would be 1M/return trip, doing that 25 times a day would be pretty grindy but possible. Alas I still only have a T7. ^^

Shut up before they nerf it again.

Every time we find something fun to do in this game to ease the total grind, someone blabs about it and the devs screw it up.

I think it's because the last thing they want is for us to actually have fun! :(

Aye looking forward to convoys starting to arise once the grouping functionality comes online next year. In the meantime, have fun over the crime period. I'll be back to it on Monday :)
