Ok, so I am mad at Frontier. On my 2.5 bottle of Laguntias Little Sumpin, I accidentally sold my Eagle thinking it was my worthless Hauler. I mean what good does a "trade" ship do me if it can only hold 8 cargo?? Seriously Frontier? As if a noob trader like me would have the capital funds to buy goods that would make an "8" cargo hold profitable. The most you can make on a run is like 3,200 credits?!?! So yeah that is when I sold my Eagle in error! Luckily I had enough credits from pwning wanted person at a beacon in a my noob Sidewinder. However, as things go in ED, the only ships cold are friggen transports. So I have to make a another 5 min jump to the next station in hopes that they have another Eagle I can buy, even though I the station I just sold it to should at least have one right?
Anyways, as I get close to the nest station, I am getting all excited about going back to my "wanted" pwning ways at beacons, and a friggen message of doom pops up out of the middle of no where on my VR pilot's display. "Server maintenance will happen in 30 mins. Return to a base or get pwned by the Matrix." Again another thing out of a million that does go wrong in the universe of ED. So I unhappily dock at the next station, and luckily they have an Eagle I can repurchase to make up for my buzzed stupor. I got it combat equipped, and now I am eager to return to hunting down the less than desirable scumbag pilots that pass through my chosen beacon.
Can someone who actually read through my buzzed stupor tell me how long downtime actually is? I would really appreciate it...

It is just 15 min, so not a big deal. Their servers are not stable enough apparently to run 24/7.
