Ok then. Copy your ED4 backup file somewhere else - like the desktop. Delete ED4.db, restart the BPC, uncheck auto update, then copy your backup over ED4.db.

Slopey you're right, I changed my language to US/EN and that error doesn't show anymore. Problem is Turkish :/

Yes, look far right at the "within distance" box. Check that and set distance

My round trip box is removed. This may make trading a lot slower for me, but bthe tool still makes profit faster than without it. Without Slopey's tool I'd make maybe 400 profit but with it I make minimum 800. The removal of the round trip option will make me spend more time in the system view, galaxy map, and the tool itself and less time trading.

Still, can't deny this tool is great. I'm glad it exists.

Parsing is crazy slow with newest version..i mean glacially unusable.

found the issue...its an auto updater fail...id disable that feature until the code is worked out better on it.

i uninstalled, and reinstalled and the issue went away....i discovered another issue though: client process keeps running even though the program was told to close.

Auto wipe is removing ALLOT of good data. 48 hours is too soon. Why not rely on users to correct the data...like I've been doing? I just found a new trade, and confirmed every price was accurate, and now it's all gone. Why don't I just put it all back? What's the point...it's gonna be wiped.

after the last update it refused to open saying Database is locked. I had to rename the old database file so it would create a new one. Do you know any way i can get all my flight log from the old database and add it into the new one?

Hi actually it's just time and date settings it changes how the date is saved in database then cannot read it as it's different. A workaround for it is to just change time and date to en(us).

Hi all,

First time on the forum, but I've been dabbling with ED since September/October last year.

I have been using Slopey's BPC, and it's absolutely great, but I want to contribute information to the database. The problem is that when I click add/update prices, I cannot successfully upload my .bpc file (created in EliteOCR) as the system name is stuck on Frigaha (where I think I started the game, way back).

I have tried adding the verbose logging as detailed elsewhere, but this does no good. I did notice that the AppConfig.xml file was in the COMBAT_TUTORIAL_DEMO folder, and not FORC-FDEV-D-1002. Does this make a difference? I've tried copying it to FORC-FDEV-D-1002, but that doesn't help.

I'd be grateful for any help or suggestions on how to get this working.

ty for all informations guys i asked lots of questions. finaly last night i fixed the problem and i can search stations now. i changed all language setting keyboard settings everything about language, than BPC start working. there are still minor problems but all of them about my frame work version or im missing something.

Am i missing something here, or has some of the data been scrubbed?

I spent hours over the xmas period collating and uploading data for about 20 stations. It all uploaded succesfully and i could use the BPC to figure out what was best for me.

I have just updated to the latest version of the tool and the majority of the data for the systems/stations has now gone??

Am I missing something here, or is it now gone until i upload it again?

I've been getting the Database locked message on each startup as well. I just click it and carry on. It runs fine to start with but does become progressively more sluggish over time. One thing that does seem to keep it running sweeter for longer is to set cargo to 1. The top unit profit is the best buy.
