I was sitting on the flight log tab too, until the error dialog comes up when I was exiting hyperspace, not really the best moment ^^

I wasnt using the required 1080p resolution though so i couldnt update it as a BPC, which is a shame beacuse i did a load of screenshots and ran them through and the accuracy was 100%.I`m not enitrely sure how to take those Hi Res screenies and really dont want to have to install further apps to be able to (got enough random crap on this laptop as it is)

Anyway, keep up the good work Slopey, It makes such a massive difference to making money to start with.

If you don't need the historic data, you can clear it down manually for data over a certain age (in hours) from the new Options - Database Settings page

ive been doing runs between the same systems for weeks. One day on my way to the system the restart notification came up. I arrived , docked and sold my goods , then waited for the restart. Upon logging back in commodities that used to be there were gone , stuff that wasnt there before was , and available quantities changed. and ive even elaborated in this very thread that ive been running from Sol to Anlave because it was lucrative.

Last but not least - If any of those type 9s and whatnot that you saw didnt have CMDR in the name - they were NPC's. Npc trading also effects available quantity. again - before you rage that some leech , leeched your route because you put it in the bpc - think a little.

Likewise. Traffic report for the station, I have been alone for more than a month in those systems. From one day to anoter, 46 type 6, 23 python and 12 Type 9 (traffic report is commanders only). But tnx for talking out of your ass.
Also, for the current amount of users, 933, there is only 2779 known systems. That is not even 3 systems pr. user. I have uploaded more than 50 unique. So yea, someone is not really pulling their weight, which is where I think the term leecher is quite correct.

You need to read back this topic and set your Logs and AppConfig.xml properly. It's working perfectly on 4.2.0.1, and I've not changed that code for weeks, so waiting for the next update won't help.

I'll delete one. But you'll need to either delete your ED4.db or delete one from your local data.

Are you on 4210? If not, update from the OP please - parsing takes a fraction of the time it used to.

I can't reproduce this - what language is your Windows set to?

Not really a useful search, but I though you might want to know anyway. By the way my system memory was never exhausted. I have 16GB of RAM and only 5 was ever in use.

Unless the Devs really like you, there's now an entry on the db in 'Paras' for a station called 'Slopey's Market BPC Tool' that, I hazard a guess, may not be valid.

When using the "set from/to" from the right click context menu it sets the system with the station in brackets. The search does not work properly when this is done. System and station has to be set manually first.

Anyone explain how I add space stations to stars.

I've been in a succession of systems where no stations are listed. If I can add the Stations I can add their produce.

Are we allowed to report suspicious price findings here? Because if so, I'd like to report that some jackass has been uploading false prices for clothing in multiple systems.

The tool said I could make over 220K selling the stuff at Nu Gong's Calatrava Camp. I thought it was too good to be true, and checked it out for myself. Turns out I was right, I made a small profit, but nothing like the fortune it said I would. Other suspicious clothing prices include Lewis Colony in Velniassee and Baade Orbital in Desubi. I think someone may have done the same thing to Drebbel Port in Yash, only with aquaponic systems instead of clothing.

Yep, I've wasted several hours now chasing apparent good routes only to find it's complete guff. Some are clearly mistakes where people have entered the row above/below the actual line, but some are just plain wrong... there's no way the markets have changed that much. I even did the filter suggestion from Slopey above (thanks, S

) and limited it to profit margins between 1000 and 3000CR.

I suspect someone is entering incorrect data on purpose... thankfully with the user account/reputation changes on the way this should fix that issue (yay!). Until then, I think I'm going to do my trading the old fashioned way, because in the last 3 days this has made my trading less effective, not more

which is a real shame as I love the concept behind it and using it. Seems some have to spoil the fun of others.

Am I over-reacting or am I reading the data right?

So are you correcting it as you go from place to place or just flying off leaving the data there?

It's crowdsourced - if nobody updates it, it doesn't get better. If entries are wrong or are very old, correct them. If people are always correcting incorrect (or in some cases malicious) entries, then those doing it will get bored soon enough as it's fruitless.

But it's not the tool's fault, it's the users who are using it, so if you're going to complain about the data, you should at least be correcting those entries.

Basically, set the Logs directory on the options page of the BPC properly - to the Logs directory in FORC-FDEV* (where the game is).

Then in that FORC-FDEV* directory, you'll find AppConfig.xml. You need to edit that and add VerboseLogging="1" under the <Network line.

I've noticed that one, but it does work ok for me (except it doesn't search by station). I'll have that tidied up in the next version.

I only just picked up your PM today NoTones - no need to be rude. As a rule, I don't acknoweldge all the donations via paypal, aside from a few which I did to confirm they were correct. And anyway - you've told me they may not have even come through?!! How can I respond to something I've possibly not received correctly?
