Has this game been hacked already?

I was mapping out a system when I had an interdiction. seeing as I had just spent 20m buying all the hard ware toped shields to the max, reinforced everything I could think of to do. added defensive measures. I thought I would be able to at least put up a fight ..... what could I do NOTHING but sit in my seat looking around watching my screen crack, oxygen going in twenty min engine was down off completely, even if my power was full on. shield offline. dead in space. I got hit once and everything stopped working...............has this been hacked. or is it possible with the right stuff to do this? not very happy today :S or is it so real that the unknown is out there ?:)

Or even a smaller ship to a bigger ship with appropriate sub system targeting ;)

Could be worse though... leaving him cold and staring at the Self Destruct option.

Bummer that blasted you should've at least steal the cargo.

Sounds like you don't have enough power for all your modules, and when you deployed your hardpoints everything shut down because of it. Most people go through this when they first get their eagle and put a 3rd laser on it. Did you check the power figures in the outfitting screen when you bought all that expensive gear?

Wow... Epic information you've given us there.

1. What ship were you in?
2. What type of ship interdicted you?
3. Were you interdicted by a player or NPC? (I know it's implied it was a player since you're asking about a "hack" but it's always good to be sure.)

Is it possible you got nailed with some big guns and went *POP!* really fast.. sure. Matters on the answers to questions 1 and 2.
Other than that, we would need more information from you before anyone could give you an actual informed answer.

I have come across on other games that have for the pc so what's the difference..... if I want to know something I will ask regardless. if you don't ask you don't learn anything. I was not in a sidewinder lost that as soon as I could. also asking the makers if it has . they wont give an answer so were else to ask but here

An Anaconda with a plasma can do this to a little Sidewinder with one shot.

A full cannon / railgun broadside from something with 3 or more hardpoints (if the target is small enough), a bunch of missile spam, or 4 pips to shields and ramming can usually manage the same thing. Since the OP says they spent 20m on upgrades then the target is potentially a Cobra or larger, so I'd suggest a lucky plasma / railgun alpha strike or maybe a missile barrage.

You still aren't helping us determine what happened. You're simply saying "my upgraded ship died very quickly it must be a hacker."

Sorry but you haven't given enough information and used far too much punctuation for us to help.

Was this a player or npc? What was the condition of your systems at the time? Had you repaired recently? Did you try to evade the interdiction or submit? What ship were you in? What defensive measures do you mean? Are you playing in open, solo or private group?

Without that kind of information the answer is no, it's not hacked, yes its possible to be killed.

Some ships (like the Viper being the prime example) have big, vulnerable thrusters. If a much larger ship (like a Python) nailed you with a well-aimed shot with multiple railguns of large size, they could disable your thrusters with one or two hits.

Once that happens, you're hosed. No need to 'hack' to do this, you just need to be prepared and have a target that doesn't respond fast enough when they land in normal space.

We really need more details to know what happened to you.

Multiple times I was shooting to npc's with fragment cannons, they seems to be disabled for some time. Do fragment cannons may work that way?
