I don't hate it, but there's simply not enough content. After a week you've pretty much done it all.

I don't like the flight model. Too many arbitrary restrictions that have no place in a space sim.
The ships fly damn smoothly, though.

Im not baiting, i would genuinely like to know why someone would use a word such as hate and yet still hang around.
Because otherwise the game is nostalgic enough to keep playing it. But that has nothing to do with hating its provider for that bait and switch.

Voted up, but I guess you should change the name of the poll (well, if you can).
I voted what I dislike in ED, but I by no means hate, or even dislike the game itself. I really like it, but there are things that I'd change.
Ofc, can't make a thing good for everyone, but well, just giving my opinion in this poll.

need more and better an in depth mini story lines to missions. Really need to feel like we are doing something and interacting with the universe. But that fell is no where close with these random 7-10 generic crappy missions we have no matter were you go in the galaxy. SOOOOOO BOOOOOOring.

Why I love Elite: Dangerous

  1. Despite being rushed out early, it already features deep and engaging gameplay, and the bugs have been few at best.
  2. It looks great, and sounds even better.
  3. While I disagree with the choice to go with Peer to Peer networking, I have had many more positive experiences with open than negative, and thus dynamic Galaxy is a blast.
  4. The game has avoided many of the traditional MMORPGS features I find annoying, and IMO is the better for it. I look forward to how FD implements Wings while retaining the ascetic of the Elite Universe that I enjoy.
  5. I haven't yet had to choose between remaining in open, or going solo. Player Killing has been a relatively rare event so far, and the PC pirates have been genial folks.
  6. The ability to move between solo and open has resulted in allowing players like me, who are on the border between PvE and PvP to play in open, ensuring a much richer multi-player environment than most pure PvP experiences.
  7. I have been able to play the way I enjoy most without the NEED to get a bigger ship. The perception that one must GRIND at trading before having fun is merely that, a perception, not the reality IMO.

I could go on, but my break is over. While I do have some issues with design choices, usually the lean in the direction if making the game too easy.

This seems like a very thinly disguised complainer fest. Lets get a list of all the most divisive and sensationalist topics that other people have moaned about over and over and over to have just another stick prodding thread that hopefully incites said people to all come out and start banging on about what they don't like about the game. Adding yet more negativity to forums for sake of adding negativity. I'm sure Frontier are well aware of these opinions, whether they decide to do anything about them is totally up to them, but do we have to keep on and on and on and on about it. Jeez enough already.
.
I do hope the Moderators take this pole/thread down. The OP is doing nothing to address any issues or help anyone new to the forum or give the forum community any kind positive image to newcomers.
.
Also the use of HATE in the title of the thread is totally inappropriate in my opinion and frankly provocative.

Ok, poll works now...I found it difficult to vote for any of them. The closest is the first one...releasing before a two week vacation was not ideal.

Hate is a strong word.

The one feature I'm most disappointed with is the background simulation. I thought it would have more depth than what was designed, with players able to have a greater impact.

I do, however, understand why it is so shallow, and can deal with that, so I continue to play as I'm having fun regardless.

"Hate' doesn't describe my feelings about the game, but I do see it as the result of pileup of at least a few half-baked (at best) design decisions that needed more time in the oven before being released and deemed 'completed.'

Thank you for allowing votes for multiple options.
