LOL it is amazing to see how many in RL hate JB. I would say in game not the best cmdr name lol.
*** As for the triggering. You won't see anything till FD triggers it. The whole system sucks. There is no actual game-play for this or pretty much any other aspect of system changes. No missions relating to it and absolutely nothing in the system to indicate progress. Toward a goal. And no documentation anywhere on effects of the rep system. I really think FD doesn't know what or how it even works. I really hope they come up with a simpler system for telling what is going on and some actual content regarding these system changes. Like some missions relating to them. As of now when you go to one of these all it is is exactly the same missions and uss's as the system you left 200 ly's away. I don't know about you but there should be something that is different in a system 200 ly from another.

Yes, I see that now. I have seen people a lot more regularly now after they improved the matchmaking, and have suffered as a result. Though it is too late to go back now.
There are at least two serious bugs with the background sim at the moment (both known and being worked on), so hopefully things will improve when they are fixed.
Perhaps then, they are secretly watching me, or I am just unlucky, when the civil war started, the prices went to an unfavorable level.

Yup. I have my principles and if it happend that you are in a T9 and attacked and I am in the same instance by chance I even would protect you although I rather shoot you. BUT get into a viper or anything else that makes it a fair fight I will happly shoot you to get my virtual "I killed Bieber" Tag!

Sounds strange.
Back in december i found myself a nice trading area in and around the Uru system, basically just me there and e few ships passing through each day.
Within 3 weeks the main faction's influence in Uru changed from 55% to over 61%, i also managed to affect faction influence in surrounding systems (Patocuda, Belacajan and Sadhen), though not that severe.
Are you sure you're not cancelling out any influence changes, because you do missions/trade runs for all the factions ?
Focus on one or two factions only and their influence should slowly increase.
I've seen quite a few threads about this and about reputation. Of course i can only comment based on my own experience, but i have had no problems with reputation gain and naval progression.
Both for the Federation and the Empire, and i've regulary seen influence changes in the systems i (and others) traded and did missions in.
LTT 1044 is in lockdown. Other than seeing a system authority vessel in anarchy space, all looked normal to me. Oh, except a couple of dodgy traders wanting to buy narcotics outside Greco port. Maybe that's what happens in lockdown?

Well thanks for your concern. Though mostly it isn't backlash per se it is the computer voice saying... You are under attack. Only one person who has ever attacked me has said anything at all to me, and it was 'screw this,' when I managed to turn the tables on him.
