Bye all

I'm not much of an explorer, but since wear and tear is tied to SC distance, to make it that far and back (at least 10^5 Ly), maybe you want to just pop the adv scanner, scan the sun and leave, to maximize the mileage you can get out of your unrepairable subsystems.

Hi all!
So after a busy week with all work and no play, i find myself wondering where to go on my exploration tour.
Where should i go to see interesting galactic wonders?
Thanks!

Send postcards back. Oh, and bring me a nice t-shirt.

'Silent_Star travelled to the far side of the galaxy and all I got was this lousy t-shirt'

XD

I just picked a direction and went. I have found loads of interesting systems purely by accident when I have been looking at my next route calculation.

Whichever way you go there will be things no one has ever seen before. I have come across nebulas that surround one star that you would never see by looking at the map until you are almost on top of them.

How 'bout repopulating unpopulated space - like Cooper and Brand? You may need to bring someone along to breed with ;)

I'm going to travel to the other side of the galaxy.
If you never hear from me again than i accidentally flew into a black hole.
anyone has some ideas about were to go? ATM I'm 500ly outside populated space.
Not that far but it will come haha

See you in the Norma Arm Silent Star!

I'm thinking more the suicide run method. Travel as far as I can be bothered and then just fly into a star when Ive had enough . 500k in insurance and back to civilization.

Have a great journey!

2 Questions though, i myself am thinking to undertake a (great) journey. What's the best way to save the game then? Just drop out of SC somewhere and throttle to '0' and save?
And this W&T, what will it cost you, when flying an ASP? Will it destroy you eventually?

Save Game: Yep, that's all you need to do.

ASP: No idea, I'm in a Cobra. Very cheap to maintain.

Good man! You might be able to confirm the rumours that on the other side of the Galaxy (Far, Far, Away) There is a black hole which, if entered, takes you to Elite Dangerous 10 space!.....Spooooky!
