What a bummer. Eventough they are large, I don't think this ship will be better at combat than an ASP with 2 Lasers & 4 Multicannons.
your thought seems very logical to me, ever for the name ... 'vulture' sounds like an opportunist light assault ship instead of a big heavy trader or whatever..
The power priority system was implemented for a reason. It was never our intention to let you power absolutely everything (especially the most hungry stuff) at once without some compromise.

For Kickstarters and Beta Backers, yes.
I hope and dream that it'll come before 1.1...although I doubt it.Do you think it will be in 1.1?

I certainly hope it doesn't come after 1.1 - I already want this ship NOW!

Don't hang your hopes to high regarding the vulture's launch date. It is still labeled as 'concept' and I don't expect it to make it into the game pre 1.2.
The Fer-de-Lance, however, was already featured in a newsletter and is probably way closer to its introduction into the game.
Is the vulture that ship in the top down that was shown? That would imply the render exists at least.
When that came out, I think the Python hadn't been released yet (along with the T7 and Adder), but that was pictured and all but that mystery ship next to the Eagle are in-game now.
Vulture, hmmm.
Speed lesser than speed of an Eagle. So, it cannot escape from laser-seeker missile ASP. It probably cannot both outturn and outdps an ASP that doing nothing but flying backwards.
4 missiles +2 lasers > C3 cannon + c3 beam Especially when dual chaffs involved. But probably dual c2 dumbfire vulture will have very good chances.
It even cannot escape, as asp can reach 390-400ms speed.
My bud has ganked immense amount of bounty hunting PVE/trade/exploration vessels (without any piracy), missile asp is really something awful.
