That's me in the Python!!!
Was the best fight I've ever had, I actually thought I was screwed when you all jumped in!!
Python is Class A almost everything, I think I had gimballed pulse on at the time, I was expecting you to use more Chaff than you did, and with 4 pips to engine, you could have outrun me. I mostly kept power to engines to try to keep up, with whatever I could spare to shields.

I didn't have any chaff, so that why I didn't use more

Mine is "inflated" by $20000 because of the cannons I was trying.

I've been told I'm not in charge of deciding to attack anyone anymore.
That seemed pretty fair to me. Great video but little coordination against somebody who knew what they were doing.

I have fire groups, when one bank runs out, the next bank has a new set of SCBs.

I hope I didn't screw the other guys over too much! I was looking for wanted players, then due to extreme boredom, decided to pull people from SC and KWS them as I was having no luck. When I saw the 3 of you I wasn't sure if you'd attack or all just flee, then when you shot me it was on
I'm more than happy to abandon cargo for the other guys to help them out if I set them back
In defence of the python hes right, if your going combat you have about 5 bays to only put shield cells in, it'd be great if you could put ammo containers in them but sadly you can't. If you wanted the biggest advantage properly you'd put cells in all of them, I genuinely believe cells should be limited to 1 module so I only fly with 1 but you can hardly blame the guy for filling his slots.
I'm not prating (don't need cargo space) I was mostly NPCing for rank (hence gimballed) and looking for wanted players to kill. I'd lost one python to another wanted python with more SCBs than me, so I just loaded up on them.
Other than a fuel scoop and an interdictor, I genuinely don't know what else I could fit in my internal slots really :/ I'd happily take an aux power plant for more weapon recharge if there was such an option

The second time, I was down to my last bank of SCBs so went to run, he rammed me, my 4 pips in shields and military hull meant that he exploded, so I "won".

Well thats very nice of you and I'm sure they probably wouldn't say no, but their insurance costs were about 50000cr and 120000cr so it wasn't that big a deal.
Was the guy in the cobras second day in it, he just upgraded from an adder, so I think it was his first fight with a player. Hes in solo right now as I type this
If you play like a noob then he beat you. Simple. One skilled Viper pilot can beat player in Python now.
Do not be angry for game, ship or for player for he is better than You. Deal with that. As i watching your gamestyle i think ASP will beat you too.
However, this is 100mln ship when it is outfitted and he should beat you three. Python and Anaconda should be much buffed.

I don't think so. I hate the whole shield cell mechanic as much as anyone (I stopped carrying them most of the time) but I don't think this video highlights shield cells being OP, or even Pythons being OP.
Ah ok then. I have a button on my HOTAS for shield cell banks. But I have to deactivate the others because the button activated all at the same time (not sure if intended or bug).
Only my weapons and the KWS are assigned to a fire group.

second good piloting for thy python and bad for those 3 ;-)
as you been attacked.. you had shieldboosters your self.. 4 pips on shield at a viper and you have as tough shield as the cobra does with standard.. so as you was 2.7km away you should have played the bait.. 4 pips on shield an boost em.. let him think he can hurt you.. over 2.5km weapons do no dmg at all, its like 10% of possible dmg.. so you could have tanked him with your cellboost on the viper between 2km and 3km easy going for 2or more minutes, while the other should do the same as soon they get attacked.. all pips on shield and boost em a bit.. he will have hard times to cut your shields.. he is slower then you by 40-50ms so use this.. learn what the pips do when you distribute them.. dont use beams in pvp, they make dmg but so slowly over time that even a drunk person can react to the dmg income.. pvp weapons are pulse/burst lazors, railgun and rockets.. not only dumbfire.. seekers have a good burst too also on shields.. they just cant hit subsystems but do amazing dmg to shields and hull.

And another thing. If you are feel poor in combat (or you are, not excactly feel) do not engage combat with Python, powerful ship when you have you basic vessel.
It is very easy to RUN from SLOW python when you have cobra, viper or ASP.
Why you engage fight? To loose? For what?

The conda doesn't have shields so I'd prefer if you didn't murder me tho

If these three ships had coordinated and taken down the shields then shield cell banks would be useless while three opponents hit it with everything they have especially if they targeted specific systems e.g. FSD, Power Plant, Thrusters. Attack from three angles and the Python can only lock on one while the other two hammer him. This would have been a very unhappy day for the Python!
