That was a bit of a surprise in the middle of the reading. I got the Veteran's upgrade from Fantastic Books so I've got John Harper's audio book to look forward to :)

I'm still enjoying my "Dockers" mug. It's not just for coffee. You can pour into it the cool thirst-quenching loveliness of that classic drink, Coca-Cola. My lips are smacking at the mere mention of that famous brand. It's the real thing.

Well done! It was fun as always, but if I were you I'd watch out for Space Kat. He's starting to steal the show.

Latin is a dead language. You can pronounce it any way you want. The only thing you have to watch out for is if the ghost of a dead centurion raises up from the grave to do you in for your insolence.

Just saw the reading on YouTube. I didn't know that the word 'assess' would cause so much trouble, but I'm quite delighted that it did. :)

I just wonder what would happen if someone choose 'assassin' as topic for the contest... a two hour reading?

Brilliant as ever Mr 'Kow and despite reading the start of my drabble a few times it looks like I will be relinquishing my crown this week to a worthy successor (and one I voted for!). Slight issue with the crown, it has suffered an unfortunate injury due to being attacked by my cat and now smells a little bit of cat wee. Sorry about that then.

OOH sounds like you've made significant improvements to it then!! You don't get to claim that back on your tax bill..
