Undocked from Oren City in Kaliki - no bounty/cargo, solo play - docking clamps release, station turns red on HUD and blows me to bits for no reason. Lose Clipper and 1.2m cr to get it back; back in the same station, still no bounty, etc. still neutral to faction. Raised a ticket. Expect ticket to be ignored like all the others.
 
Auto dock in Stations is getting worse. It does everything it's supposed to do until it actually hits the ground, then bounces left several times before coming to a stop and the onboard computer announces "docking successful". That's successful? Even a rookie can dock better than that. It seems that, once it has touched down, the rotational correction is turned off before the ship is "locked" in place as it always pulls to the left indicating the anti-clockwise rotation of the station.

On the subject of docking. At outposts, the ship lands really hard, usually at a speed of 14 when it touches down which is into the red on the descent speed indicator. A computer should be able to do better than that. I have so far had only one incident at an outpost of the ship trying to land side-on into the pad before deciding the rotate the ship to land properly a second before I turned off the docking computer to take over manually.


Yesterday dropped into a USS, 4 blips on radar, flew towards them then POP they literally diasppeared. I know what you are thinking but no, they didn't FSD out as there was no wake... they just disappeared... maybe it was somehting I said....

Just tried heading to a navigation point (can't remember the system name but can find out if required) hit the safe disengage at about 800km and arrived about 3km from the nav point. Did a quick scan of the nearest ship and suddenly got thrown 300km away from the nav point which was then receeding at a good rate (probably about 50km/s). Jumped back in again about 4 times and the same thing happened so I gave up and headed for a spaceport.
What I want to know is: Who attached the rubber band to the back of my ship?

Probably server connection issues. I also sometimes lose a bit of my fuel while fuel scooping, the progress just jumps back a bit. I guess that's because some data packets got lost on the connection to the server or something like that.
 
Since the update this morning, I stored my Viper in exchange for my Adder in order to make a voyage some 21Ly. Anyways, when I finished my objective, I jumped back to the system with my Viper (Duamta). I searched all five stations there, but no luck. It still says I have the ship stored in Duamta somewhere. :S

Update: I relation to that last post, I started ED up this morning and, like a gift from the gods, my Viper now appears in Wolf 359. So I guess it was just a minor bug. :D

Stored Ship Locations : >1 hour delay after relocating Ships / erroneous data inbetween

Unsure if it's been reported here already.

Whenever a stored ship is relocated to another Station, both the Galaxy Map (Ship Icon) as well as the Shipyard (Stored Locations) doesn't update for a quite long time, definitely more than 1 full hour.
Also, shortly after relocating the ships to another location, the old Location will often show the old System but with an erroneous Distance (in Ls or even Meters) displayed.

Spurious display of Pending Faction states - despite no actual States Pending

After doing some Supply- and Reputation work & effect testing, I increased the Alliance Faction in the Princeps System from ~55.6% to ~60.5% over the course of several days.
Of course, nothing else changed with that Faction and I wouldn't expect that anyway, given the small influence change.

Still, everytime I entered that System in the last two days, the Faction Status display in the #3 Ship Panel initially showed them as "Pending Status : Boom Critical" with a blue positive Trend Icon next to it.
When re-checking after just 1-2 Minutes, that Pending State was always gone.
No idea what's going on there, I could just observe it happen all the time...

Stored Ship / Fleet relocations

Well, today I moved my ships (8) to another nearby System.
Apart from surely boosting Sidewinder sales figures :p , the whole process took several hours *arf*

I don't even want to think about moving i.e. 12 or even more Ships over a distance of 200LY.

Perfect world (just my wishful thinking), I could assemble a COMAO of several Packs of i.e. 4 Ships each, lead the fleet and have hired NPCs escort/follow me to the Destination, at which I would monitor their safe docking at the Destination Station. Anything or anyone finding interest in the circular Symbols moving through Systems (Circle indicating more than 1 ship, filled = only NPCs, hollow = it's me with NPC wingmen) interdicting a segment of my COMAO would encounter multiple ships to deal with.

No so perfect world - but still working - I'd move to the destination and order the Station to initiate transfer of my individual Ships to my new location. They'd arrive after a delay calculated by their individual Route (FSD Range) with i.e. 2 Minutes per System, with a Panel in my Ship (or the Station in a Menu) showing me the ETA of the ships. One after another would then spawn around my Station, dock and move into Storage, ready for use (I'd assume no actual travel, notional just like all other NPCs moving around; otherwise we'd have to be talking about some kind of insurance in case of interdictions/losses enroute).

Basically anything that could facilitate fleet relocations would help at this point... Alot ;)

I just got my ship distroied by a CMDR inside lave station, i was full of rares and lost it all, i'm no sure the cmdr was a NPC or not, this is just sureal, inside a Lave station destroied by another ship, can you check the server logs and verify if it was a npc or not, because if it is it's just crap.
I fly in to stations with NPC's beeing blown to peaces all the time, this lasers frist, ask questions later policy, is getting to much bugs in the game, it whould be nice if instead of killing every trespacer you just simply give them fines with out shoting them down, and if the fine is beeing aplyed to a npc inside a space stations for trespassing, then the lasers should not come of you could just simply fine the npc and "teleport" it out of the station 20km away, i know that this migh be messy, but either that or fix the npc's launch and landing protocols in the stations, i'vv seen npc just bubping arround inside space stations until their time is out, and then all hell breaks lose on them, i'ts just stupid instead of the fireworks, just move them 20k from the station with a fine!

Middle mouse button sometimes just stops working, both for clicking and scrolling. Usually relogging fixes it beut just now three relogs failed to fix it. It's rather annoying.

If you're in open play, you will see a cmdr so and so killed you notice if it is another player. Be aware, quite a few griefers enjoy shooting at ships with auto turrets, as they will return fire, and you will be destroyed by station security. Disengage turrets when near stations.

OK twice I've been in Outfitting and my auto firing lasers have started firing at the station - the first time this happening I was blown to pieces when trying to leave the station, I raised a support ticket (#00000033950). Tonight it happened again, haven't attempted to leave yet - can't afford the CR if ship is blown up this time...

Does this happen while you are in Outfitting, or when you try to leave the station?
 
I reported this issue in Ticket #00000035140:

when I kill large ships (Anacondas, Pytons, Clippers, Federal DS's etc) I dont get the bounty. Of course those ships have bounties on them.
Killing small ships instead give me bounties normally. This issue appeared today during my bounty hunting routine. I tried to log in/out but it did not resolve the problem.

I hope someone from the community can help me. This bug is killing my fun!
 
reset mission goal

I had a mission to kill 7 pirates. I'd got to 6 when a unidentified signal turned out to be a pirate offering an alternative to kill 4 cops.
This reset my pirate kills to 0.

While I enjoy exploding pirates, my comedy OP dumbfire missile-boat sidewinder needs a lot of rearming.

Having to start again was a touch frustrating - luckily I still had an hour or so left on the timer.
 
Keep on getting stuck in hyperspace. Sometimes clears itself after a stupidly long wait but more often dumps me back to the main menu with a "could not connect to adjudication server" error. Also finding that loading into groups or solo has the same effect. I'm currently sitting here watching a very pretty rotating sidewinder and have been for the last 5 minutes.

Please, please, please can we go back to 1.04? It all seemed so much more stable then. Every new patch seems to introduce more and more game breaking bugs.

same here tried to save and quit , thought I'd ret restarting game froze on blackscreen exiting game. I should imagine FD is having server probs

I'm experiencing the extact same connection problems since about half an hour here...

I'll hope they fix it fast (or they deliver... what was mentioned 2 posts above? *hr hr*)

I can only play for about 3 minutes and application crashes to desktop just for entering the station (after docking granted) but it also crashes doing nothing and or just flying around for no reason. I must have tried landing 10+ times and I am still out there. My mission timer has long since expired and I am sure I am gonna get a fine (unfairly) since I cannot deliver my mission cargo due to crashing of the application. The game is practically unplayable for me. Was much more stable in version 1.04 and before the new launcher.
