Goto to your module screen, disable your weapons. If you need to use them for combat scenario go back into the screen & enable.

Got FRAPS...went back..died again getting a video of him sitting right in front of me not getting killed by station....BUT for some reason FRAPS only recorded 30 seconds and cut off recording so it didnt actually capture it. About to give up. I am down 8mil to this guy now.

If you do a search on google for cheats and hacks, you will see that they have their own comments, and amongst them, they comment with amusement about OUR comments about them, on here... for me they have a mix of immaturity and superiority complex...

Any insight as to their justification? Seriously, I'm curious why a person think doing this is in any way cool. Proving it can be done - okay, I can get that. Curiosity with a tinge of maliciousness. But after a few times, really, what is the point? Is it because they get to post it on YouTube and pat each other on the back - some kind of Griefer Circle Jerk?

Honestly a Griefer Circle Jerk has to be involved somewhere - I can't imagine someone doing this and getting endless satisfaction without either a) soaking in the lamentations of the victims or b) getting "attaboys" from other Gumps out there while they pass the hand lotion to one another.

First off all they should make weapon lock when going inside the station if you dont know about the countermeasures in this game its fine i explain first thing chaff and shiled cell bank on 1 button sec 4 dumbfire missiles also on 1 button go inside the station and fire the chaff then open fire and watch the time you get after chaff use shield cell bank and again watch you will be still alive sometimes even whit 100% shield then when chaff still reloading you can escape or stay in and die thats how it works from this day on i still not meet 1 hacker its what i say if you dont know how it works then dont post.

If he is using the dumbfire/pdf exploit then this will soon be fixed. He is not cheating, just being a thoroughly unpleasant person.

If he is cheating, devs can take action.

He has waaayyyyyy more ammo and waaaayyyyyy more shields than he should have. He is clearly cheating. Wish i could get a video, but FRAPS stopped on me at 30 sec and OBS is being a pain to get to record. Lost 2 more ships at 2,146,000 each for insurance trying to get a video. Logging to have a beer and cool down.

, if you have a newer/good nivida card the shadowplay is free and works great i've been using it to check track of bugs since my ship blow up for no reason
( if you play boardless then you need to have the desktop box ticked as it will not work unless in full screen)

also swap to solo if he's being that much of a muppet for the station

but thanks for the heads up as i was going to do a rares run in a sec

it's pity we don't have a name and shame , if it was backed up with video ( would say screen cap's but i'm sure some muppet would try to photoshop stuff )

The ban came after players named the wrong Cmdr and those were accidental.

Who else thought of Cutting Crew reading the thread title? No one? It's probably just me lol.

I've encountered the invincibility cheat before in Komovoy. Probably not the same guy, he was in a Sidewinder with basic lasers only. Everyone should just make sure he is cheating, gather as much evidence as possible (shots and video) and then report him for hacking with all the necessary details. Mass reporting might be the only way to deal with them.

It is sad that if you search for how to hack elite dangerous in google it looks like there are very real programs out there that alter the client with larger shields, larger ammo, huge bounty claims, etc.

FD need to do something about detecting changes to the client and fast.

It's free and very simple to use.

Well I think it is to avoid shout and accusation matches that exist quite often on other forums where naming is allowed.
Report them via the system available, complain about their actions without naming them, that's what you should do.
Naming them just opens up the whole shouting match that ruins forums so very quickly.

That said, you are going to love when 1.1 comes about, it hits said griefers very hard, no more missile spam (from small ships like vipers at least), or ability to dock in aggressive station, and shield cells have delay and are significantly heavier to have on the ship.

Found an interesting way to deal with them.

I found Mr scratching my manboobs at George Lucas. Decided to go into solo to dock, then back into open once inside. went to the surface, and watched him for a while, he does seem to be affected by lasers, but they very rarely hit - like he has infinite chaff.

I decided to buy myself an Eagle - I wanted something agile to allow me to dodge his dumbfires, but be able to aim my own. So I planned to equip it to the brim with dumbfires... An dint he end, losing it wasn't much of a financial hit. Not like a Python...

So, I go to the shipyard, and there is a flaw in my plan.

I have about 60T of rares in my hold. Argh... I have have to come back and try my plan after I do my run...
