I've been away and couldn't catch more than 60s of the stream due to poor t'internet connection. I was missing my fix so thanks for the quick upload :)
However, I may have to wait until Sunday eve when I'm back home to vote. The suspense!

I didn't realize my mic was keying up so loud in the first second or two after a long period of quiet. I have my Teamspeak set to be voice-activated. Maybe push-to-talk would be better?

I boosted some of the TS volumes to make sure they could be heard, may have toasted yours a little.

Was a great show, very much enjoyed it..

i dread the traps now being laid by the nefarious moofster!!

You should think yourself lucky you could be heard. It took me a little time to realise that the funny icon on the screen meant I had no mike <blush>.

I guess it's quite common to see old men yelling at their tellies.

Exercise Your Democratic Right

That's quite a flat spread of votes. It's anybody's game! I guess that's the problem you get when there are so many good stories to choose.

Us lot here like a clear winner. C'mon folks. Get yer votes in!

Indeed - another drabbling three-way although nice can occasionally be messy and lead to tough times ahead. For the writers.

Vote you varmints!

More People on the Stage than in the Audience

If you've enjoyed the contest but can't decide who to vote for, then please just show us you were that by voting for a random contestant. If you don't want to affect the outcome then you could just pick a silly entry, maybe one that has a bad pun in it.

I've not cast my vote yet. I'm about to take a 5hr train journey home from work so I'll have time then to give it some proper consideration. I. E. read, laugh, smile, analyse, deliberate over, scratch head, start over, read, laugh, make note of those I like and can't decide between, scratch head, realise I've written numbers of 7 drabbles, scratch head, start over...
Maybe 5 hours isn't enough time

But seriously. Roll up, roll up! Enter all, come and vote for your 3 most marvellous little Roman dwarves entries. Or if you can't decide just pick the ones with the most words in them! We need more votes :D

Congratulations to CdrTwisted and DocStone. It was a close competition with Voo and Rog snapping at your ankles.

I have no idea how you're going to share the imaginary cardboard crown. Erik might be able to make a cheap imitation, but it would never be as good as the real imaginary cardboard crown. I suppose you could take it in turns.

Sharing the honour of naming the next topic of the week is much easier. We have to incorporate both of your choices in our Drabbles. Could you both now please give us your half of the topic?

Congrats, you two, and also well done to the very close 'also ran's'. A very exciting race. I hope the dwarves leave me alone so I can enter the next one - wonder what the topics will be?

Thanks Frank and well done DocStone and everyone else. I thought writing in Latin apparently without using an online translator would have clinched it but Elite: Drabblists are tough to please it seems.

Anyway, my topic -- I was considering "Harry Kane, he's one of our own" but I think I'll stick to something more manageable: "2-1".

Thanks everyone, and well done CdrTwisted!

First up is best dressed I guess, so happy to go with 2-1 as the topic :D
