PD-turret shoots down your own missiles in 1.1

It didn't slip through QA if one assumes the many beta testers who brought up this issue to the dev's multiple times through tickets and threads in the beta forums. THis was a well known issue that simply wasn't fixed before unleashing it on the game as a whole. I really am wondering now what the whole point of wasting time in the beta galaxy was...
That's even worse. Though the term "QA" for me means not only "testing the game" but also: "rifling through the bug reports to see whether we have regressions, gamebreaking bugs or stuff that renders parts of the gameplay useless"

This was actually reported quite early on in the beta o_O

As was the ramming problem. On day 1 of the test I took a type-9 out of the docking hatch at MAX speed, steamrolling 3 people just outside the station without taking any damage.

Maybe one of the dev's is a happy go lucky trader and decided to have his/her revenge today on all ye' pirates?! :D
 
I get the feeling the Dev. team are still working on a cycle of days to weeks and sticking to rigid deadlines for some reason, whilst the poor ticket and support team are completely overloaded and working on a cycle of 'it'll get done when it gets done'. Hmmmmmmm.

Not sure if your joking, but no. Devs stated that PDT should never target your own ordinance of any variety. This bug was brought up in beta 1.1.... Not sure why it isn't fixed, but maybe it's really involved.

Hmm, I must be mistaken, then. Fairly sure I saw this come up before.
Anyway, if it's known about, it'll get picked up in the cleanup. A little unfortunate that a number of beta comments were ignored and 1.1 was rushed in, but them's the breaks.
 
This was reported in beta, a dev actually commented that it was NOT intended behaviour as far as he was aware. So, it's either a bug or a bloody stupid :)
