He is only worried about keep their vision of the game, and profit of course.
I think it's the right moment to take a break and enter the Star Citizen world.
No-one deserves anything.I think we deserve an official answer, lets keep this up please.
I want an answer.
You're just going to swap your ticket on this line for a more expensive hypetrain.
The entitlement in strong in OP. Let me help you: you don't deserve anything but to participate in the development of a brilliant game that is still in an very early stage. So stop whining, it gets annoying! Otherwise, please go back to your mindless Pew Pew games.

+Repped.
I think I'll be out for a while. I really don't like how things are going here, and big 'balancing' passes reveal the game is far from being mature, otherwise they would be small fine-tuning interventions.
I spent over 1 month learning how to fly and fight and now too many changes broke my tactics. Too much for me, along with releasing a wonderful, hyped 1.1 that's completely broken and didn't take into account a lot of important improvements requested before (navigation fixes and trading tools).

See, I think people are getting sick of the whole release a game that is still under significant development model. This is a brilliant game that is unfinished. It was released as a bare bones Minimum Viable Product. It is a common practice in much of software development. I'm not so certain it is proving appropriate for the video game industry.
no, game is RTM not alpha / beta whatever.
such bugs should NEVER end up in live while they were actually reported during beta.period.
pushing such a mess live is unprofessionnal and show total lack of repsect for the customers, especially those who took part of the beta testing, they took time to test it, report issues etc.....
what is even the point of haing a beta if the live patch is exactly the same buggy mess?

The game is in bare bones state and after the update with juts more bugs.
The game is in bare bones state and after the update with just more bugs.

I don't get it, they release a patch, ok a few bugs slip through... it's not the end of the world guys.
Avoid stomach ulcers by calming down, they will fix the issues; if it upsets you that much, don't play within 3 days of a patch till all is ironed out.
releasing an patch THAT BROKEN with things like the collision bug THAT GOT REPORTED MULTIPLE AND MULTIPLE OF TIMES
is like ...... in the face of the community...
they have had an test server for 1.1 WHY NOT FIX THIS .... there and THAN bring it to the live server like every normal moderate intelligent company is doing it????
what now??? everyone stop playing till they bring the next patch/hotfix next week???

The time of "participation" should have ended with 1.0 in december. A game thats *unplayable* in 1.1 LOL is far from being in a beta stage. It's not already there.

enought of this policy game company have nowadays pushing broken games live.
from now on:
game is RTM -> no core mechanics issue tolerated.
should such thing happen -> refund
wouldn't you do the same for a dishwasher / TV whatever you buy? should the product be defective, you either ask for replacement or refund, and you don't wait amonth for *maybe* a firmware update.
same shall apply to games
i paid for a product, product is defective, i get my money back, it's that simple
That's not an explanation. That's just another tone-deaf brush off.
Sadly I've done just this. I'd supported SC to a similar level as ED about the same time 15 months ago. I was unhappy with the release of arena commander a few months ago. BUT lately with things here being as they have been for me I decided to reinstall the SC client and I was blown away by the improvements they have made. This led on to me reading more into SC anD one thing strikes me above all else.
THEY COMMUNICATE.
In every possible way from the head man down and regularly on all aspects of the development from technical to lore to fan stuff. They are presenting a far more plausible project at this point. Since ed release it's gone very quiet and we here bits and pieces about the next update in the most brief terms. Right now I can see the road map that SC plans for the next year out to main release. They may not hit the deadlines but they are specific enough to give fans a rough target but enough leeway to cover the company.
SC may well be the game I click on next year and more importantly talk about playing on various gaming forums. ED SADLY could well become a gaming footnote for me which is a shame as ive been here since alpha day one.
Then you failed to inform yourselves by reading the forums where it was stated multiple times by the devs that this is a long-term development project which will take several year for completion.
