Yes I Have a feline co-pilot - whose moments are less when I am about to face plant on a station wall and more a case of suddenly finding the monitor fascinating when I am either in FS about to arrive at a white dwarf (throttle back people) or have just been interdicted.

He's not a pet, but he takes care of my throttle and landing procedures!
This is "Dusty" my copilot,
found him in an unnamed system along the path to the aquila constellation.
He had a diary with him, stating he had been a german baron one day,
but his craft, clearly not suited for space operation did yield to the harsh void
and preserved his focussed stare on a "magnetometric sensor array".
He is very calm and short on words,
i like him.
Reminds me of my copilot Herr Nilsson who resides on my keyboard (I also have a cat, but the cat is a jerk and likes to boost me into stations and generally freaks me out when wearing the rift, so it's not allowed in when I play ED - besides Herr Nilsson is more cuddly):
