To make a play on words I changed the 'b' in 'bogging' to a 'd'. After all, we are talking about canines. Apparently, in doing so, I created a 'naughty word' so my post wasn't allowed. This was not my intent, and it is also a mystery to me - I always thought it meant 'to follow somebody relentlessly' and I don't understand the problem... maybe I've been out of the UK so long that the language has changed and left me behind?
Oh well. Tired, going to bed. Nighty night all.
Wait, really? The UK has an issue with "bogging" with a d? Man, they drive on the wrong side of the road and they have the absolute silliest swear words. In the States, it's also 'to follow somebody relentlessly' or harass them. Like a dog on your heels, begging.
Anyway...
Hmm, I was going to respond to some other post... Oh yeah.. that was it...
Micky, I initially compose my Drabble in Notepad. After so many drabbles, I now hit so close to 100 words it's scary. Then I jump over to
www.wordcounter.net and toss the drabble in there to see how close to 100 I really am. Generally, when I'm writing, I make mental notes of adjectives I can add or remove to tweak it a word or two.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents from the guy with only 2 votes.
