Not sure if this has been picked up on, I've noticed I'm being interdicted and attacked by 'Clean' pirates. I've not risked killing them as I don't want to murder and get a bounty. So I'm unsure as to whether it goes against you if you do kill them.
 
Raised a fault on saturday which I think is an ongoing issue not being able to hand in missions.

Game updated with latest patch.

In Warren Prison Mine, Ross 128 - took a mission for Ross 128 Coalition FED Allied - to free 2 slaves (not imperial slaves) for 0 cr but rep gain - USS in another system getting the slaves and now mission options changed to 'mission delivery options' take them to another system for credits.
Don't want to as building Rep with Feds - get back to Ross 128, but mission fails to appear in Bulletin Board to hand it in.

Don't want to lose rep by abandoning the mission or selling against the Feds and losing REP.

Have only raised 3 issues, 2 in Beta and now this one - didn't receive any feedback from the other 2 issues raised....is that normal or should I expect something from the support team ?

A strange issue I've had since the latest update. My pulse lasers have disappeared. I mean they're still there, they deploy, the sights come up and they even make the usual laser noise. But no lasers actually appear and they can't damage anything. It's frustrating. I don't play so regularly so maybe it's something that will sort itself out but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

This is actually annoying now as I have to go through about 15 jumps to get to a stored ship and I can't defend myself properly. I bought a gimballed laser turret and it seems to work fine. Likewise I have a multicannon and it also works. But the pulse lasers just seem to have broken. They deploy, they make laser pew pew sounds, they deplete the cooldown bar on the hud, but they don't appear on screen and they don't do damage. I changed nothing in the ship's setup. Is it possible that they are broken and can be repaired or something like that? Or is it a bug? I have no money left to buy anything - I am still just starting out so I don't have the finances to just replace everything.

I'm at Jaques station in HIP 110620 and the Galnet News intermittently displays in German. If I back out of Station Services and re-click it it goes back to English.

Is this happening in Anarchy systems? As there are no bounties relevant there, to find out their bounty on the you'll have to scan them with a kill warrant scanner, then it'll tell you their actual bounty and to which faction to need to sell the bounty vouchers to to get the credits after killing them. It can even happen in non-anarchy systems too where a pirate attacks you but he seems clean as his bounty is with another faction.

PS Only attack them after you fully scan them with the Kill Warrant Scanner, that way you won't be fined or penalised by the system you're in.

Community Goal Cannot Participate

Community Goals - Cannot Participate. Please help. I want to take part.

Hi,

I can not participate in the BD community goal.

For some reason my status with the Federation is Hostile. (Scanned twice and have spent Weeks trying to fix it and it went from unfriendly to hostile!)

So fought my way across the galaxy and signed up to try and fix my rep even though attacked by every single federation and pirate ship I pass (my status is clean and no cargo).

Signed up no problem.

Got to the conflict zone and was attacked by every federation single ship and it wont let me choose the federation side so I can not participate in this goal. And there is no Empire or Alliance goal to complete.

So is it unbalanced, bugged and exclusive or am I doing something wrong? I wont to take part.

Please help.

Problem with scanning using the KWS (Yes I do know how to use it correctly, I was in range and didnt take my finger off :) )

sometimes the "scanning bar" gets to full but does not go to complete. it just sticks on scanning.
Now, I *think* if you take your finger off at this point so long as you do not touch the scanning button again, you *may* (I need to check more) get the bounty, as the bar stays full with the word scanning on it however IF you touch the button again, it resets and starts the scan again.

It took me up to 4 times to get the scan to fully "complete" when playing yesterday and friday.

I will try and get it to happen again if I get on tonight and make sure i know whether it pays out when the scanning bar sticks on "scanning" at 100% to make the ticket more useful.

PS has anyone else noticed that if you click the email link for the ticket it is an invalid link?
 
Since 1.1 I have noticed increased chromatic aberration/aliasing/SS issues which were not there in version one.
I am running Oculus DK2 so that is why it is probably only more noticeable.

I think it is being caused by the new SS option which is actually making the graphics look worse in OR and not better.
I am runnin 980s at DSR x 4 all on ultra with the latest drivers etc

I have seen others complain of the same issue on OR

I'm having a problem with my community goals in the banki system I'm doing missions plus conflict zones for gold partnership and my rep has gone from allied to neutral and also it is effecting my relationship with the federation overall thought it was just me but a number of people have reported this also.
 
I still get this annoying bug where dropping out of supercruise for any reason erases my current jump target if it's too far away for the left menu to list. Last time it happened, I got dragged out of supercruise by a NPC using a nearby planet to prevent me from just avoiding interdiction. I got away with a few boosts and started spooling my FSD again. And was utterly surprised to find myself in supercruise again, even though my 20+ ly away target system was still shown as selected on the left.

I went into the left menu to find out what was wrong and it turned out, yet again the jump target had been erased, the UI just pretended it didn't happen. I had to manually go into the galaxy map and manually target the system again. This in turn erased my entire 500+ ly route.

Luckily remaking the route only takes seconds now, instead of minutes like with the old route planner, but this is still stupid. Especially because if I'm in a fight, I would like to jump out without manually going through all those hoops just to target the system again I already had targeted before dropping out of supercruise.

Is this behaviour happening to someone else? I'm thinking I should finally go ahead and file a bugreport.

This reminds me, a bug I reported ages ago is still in the game: Something is seriously wrong with asteroid belt scanning in exploration.

Right now it's like this: 1. Detailed Surface Scanner doesn't affect them. 2. Normal scans just repeat endlessly, instead of finishing. 3. If you discover them first, you'll get your name attached to it, but a bonus of 0 credits. 4. All asteroid belts are worth 0 credits.

I guess I should sit myself down and update my bugreport with some additional screenshots, but after getting no feedback for so long, I'm not entirely sure if I'm not just wasting my time...

Right hand panel > Stats > Credits spent on ships = 0

Its been like this since Beta. Am now using latest client.

Strange considering I've bought a Hauler and a Cobra.

I just started the game and it didn't respond to my controller anymore. It seems all controller settings have been erased, it defaulted back to keyboard and mouse.
I'm trying to set it up again, yet it keeps erasing my settings. I set a few buttons, press apply, test them, go back in to set the next buttons and it's a blank slate again.
I'm using the Custom preset with a DS4. It has been working fine since I started playing, yet suddenly it won't have none of my controller anymore.

Hmm, after half an hour making copies of custom.binds trying to figure out what's going on, it stopped resetting the bindings. Problem solved itself?
Frustrating, hopefully I won't die forgetting a crucial button for those less frequent occasions... First I'm going to make screenshots of all the settings, not trusting this anymore especially since all the invert axis settings have been mixed up. It's like getting back in your car and the brake doesn't work anymore while the steering wheel behaves the opposite way.

Well I didn't die thanks to save and exit. Do not forget to erase the default landing overrides. I did and glided to a halt inside the cattle gate right in front of the letterbox at a 45/60 degree angle upwards and sideways with all the controls switched around and inverted, while the station is rotating around me. That could have been a very costly lesson, landing gear deployed can alter the behaviour of the ship beyond recognition... Nice prank FD.

Now yesterday I played ED for the first time since the update, took off to find I had no thrusters or yaw/pitch but the throttle part of that CH throttle controller still worked.
I didn't find anything out of place in options, I had just changed my sound card so figured I had put the controller USBS in different positions, but would that explain why some of that controller worked and some didn't?
I unplugged and replugged the usbs and then reassigned the controls again to the same positions in options, everything seemed to work after that.

I reported this during the 1.1 Beta on 4th February (Ticket #34600). They replied within 4 hours stating that they would open a bug report and attempt to recreate it in house and subsequently marked the ticket as "Resolved". As yet there has been no fix or further correspondence on my ticket.
 
I started having an issue last night where my client has basically stopped responding to anything but joystick input.

Docking with a station and selecting "Station Services" brings up the mouse cursor, but the services window does not appear. This also disables the Launch and Enter/Exit Hangar buttons. My side panels still work. In order to leave the station, I must restart the client.

Attempting to jump to supercruise plays the countdown animation and the blue tendril-like things along the edge of my vision, but neither plays the transition animation when the countdown completes, nor actually puts me into supercruise. The blue tendril effect remains on screen, and I hear some of the sound effects.

Attempting to jump to another system plays the countdown animation and the associated hyperdrive sound effects, but when the countdown finishes, all I hear is the "system loading" animation's windy sound effects. I see no transition effect, nor the loading animations, and I certainly don't end up in the system I've selected.

This issue occurs in both solo and open play for me, and I am basically unable to play the game until it gets fixed. I submitted a ticket last night (#00000039694), but I'd expect it's safe to assume it's way too early to expect a response.
