yeah cool pic, even if i am not a huge fan of these gold foil lights. but imagine once planetary landings are out how cool it will be to actually fly down to the planet.

Awesome shot :) I can totally relate, whilst on a trade run by chance I decided to check out a nearby earth like world. Ended up staying for an Hour just admiring the view from the bridge and listening to music. The immersion was insane seeing this giant glowing ball floating below me.

The devs did an amazing job

Excellent picture...where was it taken?

I am 2k ly away, and just last night I found an earth like world....I approached it from the front, and then went around it just to check if there was any lights...because you know what would that mean, right?....I was soo excited, but then found none...I imagine the day I come accross a planet with lights in the dark...far from Sol.....I'd pee on myself!!

But I got this legendary hammer just taking up a ton of cargo...seems so sad just sitting there.

Whenever I see pics like this one though, It just makes me want to get closer to the planets. To take some pictures from an alien mountain.

I guess screenies don't do the DK justice, but just looking at this I can see it must have been truly fantastic. Unfortunately they're too expensive this side of the world, so I have wait a while for mine.
This shot was completely unexpected, I overshot and force emergency stopped (something like 2c/s into the planet lol), then I just re-orientated and ... this .. breath taken away in an instant. :D
