Every once in a while interdictions are bugged and it seems the escape vector isn't where it appears on our screen. I was just in the target for 90% of the mini game and it failed me hard which cost me 19,500 in damages. It's usually not that bad but it dropped me from 100% hull to 92% which I have never seen it hit that hard before. I'm guessing lag has some play in this and not sure how it could be fixed from that but I wish something could be done because there are too many NPC interdictions IMO and it seems like we are going to fail escape when the game wants us to fail escape which makes me sad.

Because this is such an awesome game/simulator I will overlook this issue until it is fixed and continue this overwhelming enjoyment this game/simulator gives me. Thank you!

I really wish they would give us a half hour cool down from each interdiction. A half hour is much to ask to keep from repeated interdictions is it?
 
I've been out of ED for a few weeks because I sent my graphics card back to the supplier for an RMA. So I've literally just started playing again today with 1.1

I've discovered that if I press F12 at any time after the game is launched, then it crashes back to desktop. Doesn't matter if it is in space, in a space station, at the main menu or even at the initial splash screen, crash straight to desktop when I press F12.

Anyone else seen this?

I use F9-F12 for power distribution so it's a bit annoying. I guess I'll try to workaround by using different keys, but I'm so used to them I know I'm going to be pressing them accidentally for a while.

If you have two hunt and kill mission in the same system and both in the second phase (after you meet the snitch that tells you the specific system) they will both get completed when you kill first target. Already ticketed it.
 
Interdiction failure one interdoction for 52000 Credits bounty ???

If the interdiction failed, and the sounds goes endless in the right top box you see endles bounty 475 cr.....
after the interdiction i loked of the left panel site and see 52000 Credits Bounty :eek:


Please fix that bug !!!!!
 
KWS by a friend gave me fine for carrying 'stolen' goods

Hi,

A friend of mine with whom I play in a private group scanned me with a KWS out of interest and I was issued a fine of ~48k CR in Federation space because I was carrying a few tons of gold I had picked up from a wanted NPC.

I believe this should not be the case, because he wasn't using a cargo scaner. There were no other ships around and he had only equipped a KWS, definitely no cargo scanner so how should he see the 'stolen' cargo?

This happened 3 days ago near Yembo.

The mission MAKING FRIENDS AND GOING PLACES from PHEKDA SOCIETY to gain access to the Phekda system has a broken description and does not list the permit under REWARD. After accepting the mission, the PHEKDA SYSTEM PERMIT does not appear in my list of permits. I am able to access the Phekda system, however. Ticket 38946.
 
Save & Exit while under attack is still bugged: The 15 seconds cooldown often gets interupted, so you get back into the game and have to restart the sequence all over. Losing valuable seconds in a dangerous situation.
 
I took a mission to make 3 warzone kills in LP 131-66. I assume this means kills in a conflict zone.This system has a white dwarf star, one station and no planets. I flew around for ages trying to find other planets, but there are none and no conflict zones, so how am I supposed to complete the mission?
 
Hello FD, I've noticed that The T7 Lakon doesn't adhere to the mechanics the way players do. They seem to ignore masslocking and FSD cooldown. This isn't intentional, is it? ASP's strongest feature is useless here.
 
Bug mission reward

Upon receiving a mission from sugrivik labour to bring to slaves,
i went to a USS to get a alt mission outcome, In which the NPC dialog was all blank text but Contract was still updated
I manage to get a alt mission outcome and when submitting, the reward is not as the what was stated in the transaction tab , it became 0 Cr instead of 45290 Cr
and it actually increase the first faction instead of the alt even though mission was submitted in the alt station.

I reported this during the 1.1 Beta on 4th February (Ticket #34600). They replied within 4 hours stating that they would open a bug report and attempt to recreate it in house and subsequently marked the ticket as "Resolved". As yet there has been no fix or further correspondence on my ticket.


I've been getting this one too - nav screen keeps losing the lock on my next waypoint after plotting a route (sometimes its just the icon, but sometimes the system I need to jump to vanishes entirely from the cockpit nav screen). It seems to mainly happen after I've targeted other things in the interim (eg if I was interdicted or I did a discovery scan). The only way round it seems to be to go back into the galaxy map and re-plot the whole route - admittedly that's easier now following the patch but its still a faff, especially if you're trying to avoid interdictions at the same time!
I've ticketed it anyway. Will see what happens.
 
Hey, Was wondering if its a bug..... After i upgraded my armor it clouded my canopy glass. (hard to see when being close to stars). Not sure if it happened with the default paint or the armor upgrade because i did both at the same time. It looks like the widow was fogged up and someone tried to wipe it off. For those of you that live in areas where it gets cold you would understand. Ship : Cobra .. Armor: Military composite.. (although it happened with the reinforced alloy uprade before i upgraded to the military composite. Also some of the systems with asteroid mining belts are unfinished (Kremainn being one of them). T the asteroids are there but they are greyed out (no graphics) they do take hits from the mining laser but dont drop any resources

After doing one mission in a session, subsequent mission results screens often display faction changes from a previous mission as well as/instead of results from the mission you've just done (dependant on whether both faction slots are already filled or not maybe). I think I noticed some of this a bit before 1.1 too. If you don't do a mission for quite a while, it seems more likely to work correctly when you do another one.
 
Exactly the same thing has happened to me since 1.1 several times. I was flying a cobra with no cargo towards Yembo to try the community goal thing but each time I lost my jump target after being interdicted (which seems to be happening a lot more frequently now). Target system was more than 20Ly so wasn't showing up on left hand menu at all. I had to manually set the entire route again each time in the galaxy map. I got bored with this in the end and gave up on going to Yembo. I was thinking of ticketing this if it hasn't been fixed by next update.

I still get this annoying bug where dropping out of supercruise for any reason erases my current jump target if it's too far away for the left menu to list. Last time it happened, I got dragged out of supercruise by a NPC using a nearby planet to prevent me from just avoiding interdiction. I got away with a few boosts and started spooling my FSD again. And was utterly surprised to find myself in supercruise again, even though my 20+ ly away target system was still shown as selected on the left.

I went into the left menu to find out what was wrong and it turned out, yet again the jump target had been erased, the UI just pretended it didn't happen. I had to manually go into the galaxy map and manually target the system again. This in turn erased my entire 500+ ly route.

Luckily remaking the route only takes seconds now, instead of minutes like with the old route planner, but this is still stupid. Especially because if I'm in a fight, I would like to jump out without manually going through all those hoops just to target the system again I already had targeted before dropping out of supercruise.

Is this behaviour happening to someone else? I'm thinking I should finally go ahead and file a bugreport.

This reminds me, a bug I reported ages ago is still in the game: Something is seriously wrong with asteroid belt scanning in exploration.

Right now it's like this: 1. Detailed Surface Scanner doesn't affect them. 2. Normal scans just repeat endlessly, instead of finishing. 3. If you discover them first, you'll get your name attached to it, but a bonus of 0 credits. 4. All asteroid belts are worth 0 credits.

I guess I should sit myself down and update my bugreport with some additional screenshots, but after getting no feedback for so long, I'm not entirely sure if I'm not just wasting my time...

What about the Anaconda's huge gimballed cannon? For me it's not working!! Only hovering around the targeting circle, never aims, never hits!
Has somebody the same experience??
 
Orca bug (assasssination missions can't be completed) still present. Bounty also seems unreasonably high (Anaconda level), and pilot skill is very low, it is not even attacking. Had that 15 minutes ago, very annoying.
 
Still no fix for the station landings using Auto Dock? Still having problems in stations with drift to the left as you approach the pad and considerable skid to the left after touchdown. It Appears to me that the Autodock is not using the rotational correction or is turning it off too soon after touchdown. I have had a few instances of it hovering way over to the left and not making any correction after landing gear is deployed, it won't descend but also won't move to the right to correct its position relative to the pad.

Outpost landings are now really sweet apart from the occasional side-on landings that still happen. Side-on landings on Pad 3 for medium size ships only seem to happen if you approach from NorthWest (using Control Tower = North of the pad as a point of reference) although other factors may be involved. I have not had a side on landing ever when approaching from Directly North or from any angle North, South or East of the pad, even West and SouthWest approach seems fine.

Hi guys. I've found Jacques Station (the one that moves around) and I've bought its rare goods. I think its called Jaques Distilled Wine or something similar. However, whenever I go to check my cargo after leaving the system the Wine disappears and my cargo shows up as empty. Has this happened to anyone else?
