Seems they've added a few token items with the discount applied at Banki, nothing spectacular.
Think there's any chance more high end outfitting items will be added? Can anyone confirm if the discount works elsewhere?

I made 4.500.000cr in Bonds, reached TOP 15%, and earned other 500.000cr, plus the 20% discount:
I dont' know how some people here in the forum complains about the fact that Community Goals are not rewarding
I mean, yes, some people have 300.000.000 cr, but they are, i think, 1% of all the players out there.
For all the normal/casual players it's a deal!
Great deal for me, too. Just had few time to participate. Visited the conflict zone only three times. First two attempts I sold my bonds at the wrong station, stupid me. Third time I sold them correctly, just enough to reach the 100% (83000 or so). Today I logged in and bought a class 6 A rated power plant ;-).
I actually sold all my ships but the Python and Clipper (both made the trip to Matteucci from Leesti half stripped, interdicted by NPC Cobras which are a bit hard to repel when your ship is barely functional), I also made the long trip to liquidate my Anaconda! I almost finished fitting them and I think I am almost 30-40 M Cr richer even after the fact that I bought and fully fit a brand new Type-7 too, for the lulz. Would only know exactly my savings (which should include Type-7 total cost) after I am 100% rebought modules that are not available in Matteucci at full prices.
Thinking of weaponizing the Anaconda at least for the trip home, it can't be safe jumping 300+ LY weaponless with the current aggressive NPC interdictors.

So the moral to this story is simple............. TRADERS >>> take part a bit in the Combat goals and then go back to the grind of the build community goal.
Seems I spent over 2 days grinding away to get a 5% discount at Yembo when if i'd taken part in the combat one for an hour i'd have ended up with 20%.

I'm a little unclear on how this works; if I travel to Kashiri and sell my Anaconda there (after stripping it down of course), will I be able to purchase a new one at the discounted price (which I am eligible for) or will it force me to rebuy my old ship at the original price?
You can't rebuy ships AFAIK, but you will have to sell the components elsewhere or you will pay the rebuy price which is whatever you bought it at. Rebuy also only works for one component i.e. if you sell 2 of the same weapons the station doesn't sell then you can only buy one back.
What I did was that I flew my old conda there with all my old components and bought another conda at 20% discount, and outfitted it with whatever the station was selling at 20% discount, and then swapped ships to sell and transfer the old components which the station does not sell via rebuy to the new ship, and then I finally sold my old ship. Hope that helps.

I've only got 95M in cash at the moment so can't buy another Anaconda without selling my current one, better get trading so I can afford to do so before the reward ends!
You could do the alternative, which is to just sell all the components you have and sell your old ship to maximally recoup your investment, buy the new ship, and then re-buy the missing parts in a well-stocked high tech system. What you would want to watch out for is the weapons that are harder to come by like gimballed C3 beams or pulses. It might be some time before you can find those again.
I just did what I did to save myself the trouble but you need some breathing room in your assets for it to work.

What I did was I went to Khasiri with stripped/downgraded Clipper (did module prospecting when I was doing the goal so I know what to sell/strip that can be rebought), all good. So I bought ALL the hulls on sale in Khasiri (except Anaconda), then equip the Hauler for long jump with MASSIVE scoop (I gouge the stars), go back to Leesti, strip/downgrade then sell all my ships there but Python.
Strip/downgrade Python off modules that can be bought in Khasiri, then do a 200+LY trip on the hauler to my Conda in my top secret trading spot (not really, 600 CMDR there). bring Conda to nearest High tech, strip/downgrade, sell Conda, buy Sidey, go back to my Hauler (prolly should have sold Hauler and bought a new one to save time, but anyway...).
Back to Leesti in Hauler, switch to Python, make the trip back to Khasiri in Python, buy Anaconda hull (still 220+M Cr in the bank, yay). Now all my ships bar Hauler is in Khasiri. Doing the puzzle of outfitting minigame as modules supplied by discounted ship are still at full price so I basically need to upgrade from the cheapest ships to the more expensive one or I am forced to wait to reset buyback.

"Global award" refers to which players get the reward - in this case, every participating player, regardless of how much they personally contributed. The award is still for that station only.

just means that players once they finish the reward should hang around in that area of space for 2 additional days to collect their reward.

You can get around that by checking which of your current modules are for sale first. You'll have to click "buy" on every module you have, and see if it's listed in red with "item is already fitted" - then they have it for sale. Write down which modules are not in the buy list, those are the ones you have to buy back.
Now sell *everything* on your ship, downgrade all the way to E2 powerplant etc. Buy a new Conda but only buy back the items that are not for sale (the ones you wrote down), leave everything else stock. Go grab a cup of coffe or read the forums for 10-15 minutes so the rest of your old buyback items clear, and you'll be able to buy the remaining modules at 20% discount. If you don't mess up you'll end up with the same ship and 20-30 million extra in the bank.

When I first picked up the community goal mission, I noted that they had the 7A power plant that I want at Matteucci Terminal. Now that I managed to get enough credits and are back at the station to buy it, they have 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A and 8A power plants...
I have heard that outfitting stock might change over time so I checked in both yesterday and today, but still no 7A, do we know how this works? Do the stations get new stuff at regular intervalls that are there until they are all sold to players? Or is it just random? Or is it supposed to be fixed?

How are you seeing it at 113 mil though? It's 117 million on my end.

However, I would have to sell my Asp AND my Type 7 to be able to afford the price and I am not sure if I should do this...
I know that some people say, 100 mio. minimum are needed before a Python should be purchased. This is not affordable for me. But maybe, if I keep trading for a little bit, I could do it nevertheless. But will I have the time?
