After reading this 'questionable' thread of accusations against me, may I remind you all... "PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT" suck it up!! :D

I took the theme into my drabble as CLEARLY we are ALL Completely aware............ Only Mr Winnard can fit said items up his hole!

Anyway I had a good laugh last night.... even with SNEAKY SIDE Attempts to trip me up with Idina Menzels name..

It appears that Mr. Grey's orchestrated subterfuge vocalized by DocStone to discredit Psykokow's drabble is working. :)

On another note, thank you for the bottle of scotch, Mr. Grey. I shall be placing my votes forthwith.

LOL, 'Kow, what happened to your lead?!

I hope you do win Kow. I hope you do. Then it will become our mission to take what ever bovinial topic you choose and turn your own words against you.
sticks and stones may break your bones, but words will emotionally scar you for life.

It's an extremely close vote now with very little between the two forerunners. I wonder who the winner will be...

Perhaps YOU will cast the deciding vote, pop up to the top of the thread and cast your vote for your favourite three drabbles. Then why not join us on Monday to see our 91st weekly contest begin :)

I'm in the middle of listening to this week's contest. I didn't realise there was a mystery about my second name. Well there is a quote from one of the greatest science fiction writers who ever existed..

"My name is not important"... Slartibartfarst

I've just ticked my three choices. It was a difficult decision. Usually for past polls I found it hard to choose because the standard was so high. It was still hard, but this time for the exact opposite reason. In the end I decided to think of this vote as being some sort of a limbo contest and pick the lowest of the low. My choices should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

I always thought it was Limiedere.
(I don't give a damn. I'll be gone with the wind before anyone reads this ;)

Thanks for the vote.

I'm now putting my punning pen away and locking it in a drawer.

Is it not "Sidebottom"?

Is it not "Sidebottom"?

Why the confusion? There can be no doubt, it's...

So, the conspiracy continues. Now Mr 'Kow is accused of deliberately excluding drabbles from the live reading! https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=5777&page=375&p=1857479&viewfull=1#post1857479

Even though this one was too late for the poll, was the exclusion done deliberately?
Was it to give Psykokow extra time to perform his drabble with flair?
Was it to allow time for SpaceKat to brainwash everyone watching into voting for Psykokow?
Is it all a master move by Darren Grey to deceive the voters?
Did Tommy really eat all those burgers!?
Or is it a case of nobody cares ;) !!

Will you guys leave Tommy and his fondness for burgers out of this?

Poor kid, bad enough 'Moof tried to poison the wee sod with dodgy meat, but this persecution?

Tut tut!

Attention attention, there are 24 hours of voting in this week's drabble contest remaining.

What's a drabble I hear you say?

Well a drabble is a short story of exactly 100 words on the topic set by last weeks winner. In this game of Abraka Drabble there is one additional rule.. it must be set in the Elite universe.
This drabble contest is open for anyone to enter (it repeats every Monday) and is followed by an open poll where everyone is allowed to vote for their 3 favourite drabbles.

This week the topic took a bit of a nose dive and if it wasn't for the excellent tackling abilities of our own compair-extrodinaire Mr Psykokow we might have lost it completely somewhere down the waste disposal!

When I said I was voting for the absolutely worst possible Drabbles, I wonder how you figured out I'd voted for yours.

I always thought Clarke Gable played a character called Frank Lee Miedere <shrug>

My apologises, I'd always assumed he played Rhett Butler. Thanks for correcting my spelling as well 👍

Of course you're right. It's Vivien Leigh that plays Frank Lee Miedere. That's why Rhett Butler delivers the line "Frank Lee Miedere, I don't give Edam." Back in those days of the American South there wasn't much chocolate about, and it was more common to give people cheese selections as presents.

:D (Rep +1)

I'll bow now and admit defeat.
Against the mighty Frank I can't compete.
I cannot win this round of badinage
Against your knowledge based from age
