If I remember correctly what was said in the initial design posts said, civil unrest is indeed an internal dissension inside a faction, and can result on some the faction traits changing (e.g. the political regime). I think it was also proposed that a 0% influence faction in civil unrest could be replaced by a faction expanding from another neighboring system, but don't quote me on this bit.

Ok we have a new ship in our fleet now !

Have to test this all out ect and maybe play with the modules.

WHOA! That is just superb Mauze!

I actually got a shiver up my spine at 1:35 seeing the three of us converge on that Anaconda. Mauze opening up with all the fire that hell possesses. Orfeboy, the Right Arm of Lugh at ramming speed, guns blazing. The deafening screech of metal on twisted metal as I miraculously fly my sidewinder unscathed through the massive fireball.

That is probably my best moment in ED to date - and in a Sidewinder!! I didn't think last night would get so epic so fast. I think I'll be taking the Cobra out tonight.

Actually - what are the plans tonight?

PS. It was good fun alright. I got a really good handle on my new weapon loadout which I was moaning about at first but by the end was awe dropping. A single volley from my guns was obliterating those Condors! :)

I think we would miss our Sidey mascott :)

Maybe a new faction will appear that will take a large chunk of system influence. With any surge of support such as CSG have experienced, there will be people who go along with it in the early days but get disillusioned and disinterested. Arab Spring, Orange Revolution, etc. That 96% influence or whatever is not ours. A large chunk of it is public opinion, and that is a fickle thing. If LFE have an internal coup and get new leadership, they could bounce back regardless of player missions or trading. This is, of course, based on "realism" and not based on any knowledge of E:D's background sim. It could even be a mechanism by which the devs might fix the bug - bump another faction up to sufficient influence that it allows CSG's broken take-over trigger to work.

Quick question, is there are reason that your thrusters are class 5 when you could have class 6 thrusters?

I did a quick bit of research, and I see that the 5A thrusters have an optimal mass of 840T which you are under. Would having 6A thrusters have any benefit right now, or would they only be useful if you increased the mass of your ship?

Yes! As we were departing there was a viper that got on me..I accidentally went to close to the station and 'Woomp!' Went Lugh's sacrifice. After running the whole fight without sheilds...I lost to a lapse of situational awareness!

Had fun tonight. My x52 pro caused me difficulties several times though. Random non responsive behaviour. Hasn't happened before. Odd.

Saying that I racked up 100k+ in fed bounty. A great way to hone my combat skills. Another successful raid on Hartsfield.

Screw you Feds - come and get us. There were more of us tonight too.

Edit: forgot I cleared a bounty half way through while reloading so perhaps 140k+

Yeah but those battles around Adamson Enterprise were awesome...So many Crimsons destroying the Federation Police scum, it was so easy...If we take this outpost we are close to owning the system.

P.p.s. My favourite bit was when I took on an enemy ship (when I had a cracked windscreen), realised it was an Anaconda, shouted "Whelp!" only to realise you're all fighting a different 'Conda a long way away.

I survived...The Fed 'Condas didn't :D

P.p.p.s Orfe boy you were down to 30% hull in an 'Asp' (hope my diction was write/right their/there) ... 'Ouch' :D
