The Wings content update (Elite: Dangerous 1.2) will be available for download shortly. The Galaxy servers will be down from 3PM GMT for approximately 2 hours to let us apply the update. Thanks again to everyone who took part in the beta test.

Servers down from 15:00 GMT to approx 17:00 GMT, it seems.

as a friend mentioned earlier the is nothing about players already engaged with a npc having a friend come in frome frame shift drive to help not being able to see the npc only the player he came to help
