I had the same experience, going to my downloadable products. But it was there on the dashboard for me to download. Didn't even look there at first.
 
I have paid for this game on 28/12 and haven't received my game. I have used FB, Twitter and raised a ticket and now finally joined this forum to formally ask

We're the hell is my game or at the very least, if your that incompetent at posting it, can i down load it?????????????????? :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Your customer services are the worst i have come across in a long time
 
Purchased the game yesterday via the online store. Downloaded from the store and it turned out to be the tutorials only. Have tried several times to download an actual game only to get a Fatal Exception Error. No response from Frontier customer support on this but they are sure able to manage to download my money from my account!
 
just thought I'd post here as well as I'm sure my problem is payment related!

I pre-ordered Elite on 15th December, after 2 attempts payment went through OK, but when I tried to run it it said the same "You do not have access to Elite"
I tried all the things on the forum (wait various times to enter the code, reset my password etc) but no luck. This was on XP.
I raised a ticket on 23rd December, #00000013246, and got 1 reply of the obvious points but had no response since my re-reply to the ticket which was 1 Jan, in fact I've replied twice but the ticket status still says "Waiting for user reply"!
I've rebuilt my PC last week and now is Windows 7, so tried to run as Admin, install in C:\Frontier folder etc, etc but still no joy.
Double checked my account and I still have the bulletin note of "If you have pre-ordered the Elite: Dangerous Mercenary Edition, your order is now complete and the game is available to download — the ‘Pre-order’ status shown below is incorrect." but on checking my Downloadable Products and it doesn't appear there, just a pegi certificate link!


Like I put in my ticket, I'm convinced its something to do with my account and Frontier think I've not bought it even though the money went out of my account, but I'm still waiting for a reply!


Addition! Just found this on the FAQ Support site: "You Do Not Have Access To Elite: Dangerous - You have not ordered the game or your order has not come through correctly."

I understand that they're snowed under but they've massively underestimated support.

As much as I'm annoyed I just want to play the game, I'm getting my HOTAS joystick next week, I need it to work then!!

HELP!!!!!
 
I managed to get mine to load. When I got the Fatal Exception Error I didn't close the window and eventually the it started loading the game anyway! Woohoo!
 
Don't go to "My Downloadable Products". I did that and it still won't let me download it from there. But it is on 'My Dashboard' ready to download. If you look at your orders on 'My Dashboard' it will probably show "Processing Pre-Order" or "Processing Order". Have no idea why, but above that there should be a link. as in the screenshot below.

Your screen may say "If you have ordered Elite: Dangerous" instead of "If you have pre-ordered Elite: Dangerous". You click on where it says 'Download here'

I've bought a paint pack for my Cobra two days ago, and I am still unable to see them in the equipment livery menu ingame :(

I've already opened à ticket ...

EDIT : Issue SOLVED, I had to remove the mercenary paint to be able to apply the new one from the pack :rolleyes:

Yes mine has that which is where I downloaded it from but it just says "You do not have access to Elite" after validating it, I mentioned "My downloadable products" as that's one idea from another post, I'm just trying everything but I'm positive my problem is that my order didn't process properly even though my payment came out of my bank.
Noticed later that when I click on "view order" it says order = 1, cancelled = 1!!
I've put all this in my ticket last week but still no reply yet.

Has anyone else received their merchandise yet?
the tshirt I ordered on November 27th - which was listed as in stock, 2-3 day delivery - is still not here. After 2-3 weeks of trying to get hold of customer services by any and all means possible, I was contacted on December 22nd to 'confirm my order cancellation'! Amazingly my response (to say that I had not requested a cancellation) received an almost immediate reply to tell me the t shirt had been posted that day.
Ok, so it probably wouldn't be here for Christmas... I had to order an alternative gift elsewhere and pay through the nose for next day delivery to ensure it was here for my friend.
Now, several weeks on and the t shirt which was apparently sent (although my order details still say 'processing') is still not here and all attempts to reach customer service have been ignored.

Is anyone else ready to take this to trading standards? This service is simply appalling. They've had my money for 7 weeks now. This experience has totally ruined the excitement I had for ED. This childhood dream of a new Elite has been shattered. I want nothing else to do with Frontier, just send me my flippin' order so my friend can at least enjoy the t shirt for a birthday gift if you get it here in time. Terrible, terrible customer service.

It doesn't present a link for you to request a validation code and a box to enter it? If that's the case, then there is indeed a botch at FD. Which stinks. It's a shame they don't have a support telephone number. All I can say is keep submitting tickets or adding comments to the one already open.
 
Error when trying to purchase

I'm also receiving an error when trying to purchase the digital copy online. Stating my payments are being refused? My bank has been informed and allowed this purchase. Help? :S

Can anyone at Frontier tell us if the Paysafecard paiement method will be an option one day ? This is my only way to purchase online games, I have asked multiple times, send a ticket to support, but still, no one is answering. I would like to buy the game but for now it is not possible.

Nope. I'm still waiting on a t-shirt ordered 9-weeks ago. They have recently updated the description in the store to show "Stock Expected W/C: 26th January 2015" just above where it still says "In-stock". That's the kind of attention-to-detail I've come to expect from FD.

You should be able to download it, yes. The last official word I'm aware of regarding the boxed edition is this post from 6-weeks ago:
The physical goods are being prepared. Once everything is finalised and we have a firm delivery date we will let people know.

We are very poor in the UK!
We need others around the world to subsidise our gaming, many UK players will soon have to quit online gaming as a result.
We need the EU to provide grants to UK players as soon as possible.
 
Here in the USA, it's listed as $59.99 USD so that's about 40 British Pounds. You got a discount if you pre-ordered, but that's no longer an option since it has been released.
 
Over a month and no response to ticket. Purchased skins on 30/11/2014 and they are still not showing up in game. Order Number: 600009420.

Question? I bought some skins in the same order with the boxed edition. I see that the boxed edition is still on hold. I also see the skins on the same order as the hold item. I want to outfit my ships with the skins I paid for. How can I get the partial order filled without waiting until the boxed set comes out?

Well, I ordered the boxed upgrade together with a skin in January. I haven't got the box yet but the skin was immediately available in the game.
