im serious! its a good example of how even the higher kitted ships can get pasted (or close to) if encountering a fully kitted wing.

i doth my hat to the four of you whomever you were.. you took me down to 26% hull and knocked out my shield generator.

After some very cleaver manuvers and variation in speeds (and double backing to really throw you off i out run all four of you and escaped to fight another day so alas no combat bond from me for you to share..

nonetheless when you in the bar at Lave next the first rounds on me for a good fight!

no bitter ness here btw im just glad i can out last a fully kitted out PVP 4 man wing.. never underestimate a clipper!

oh and Pray none of you see me 1 v 1

Being a lone pilot myself it is nice to see another Cmdr realizing that when a wing does attack you in a CZ they are doing what a wing should do. Fighter squadrons will work together, infantry squads will work together, etc. no matter if they outnumber the enemy or not.

however the more i see ppl saying (you should join the mobius goup i feel like im being hen pecked about PPI protection all over again).. i know Mobius is good especcially for players in PVE but in conflict zones there is no such thing a s PVE and i dont want to kill nice ppl! (unless they shoot first of course then they get wasted, or I do hehehe)

He said he was in a clipper and they were smaller ships... and, besides paying attention to the fight and noticing what weapons and counter measures were being used, he may well have used sub targeting to ascertain their modules...

Edit: he didn't say they were smaller ships, apologies... but it was implied.

And yes, cz's are very doable solo in open, you just have to be wary and attentive.

cost me about 23,000 (wich considering my rebuy cost is over 4mil i cannot complain

But to furthur things, indeed i find alot of wings take advantage of that wing beacon they have and will drop one member in to test the waters if they find easy prey (or what they think are easy prey, they will pounce, a well organised flight wing in my opinion) i think its a tad over powered if 4 top rated playes pounce on a sidewinder worth nothing but in a conflict zone if they are on the enemy team they are fair game. its the nature of the conflict zones.

in fact the only real pain in th backside is the friendly fire aspect of the CZ's but even when not in a wing i have aided other players hunt a kill by simply mass locking them .. once one of us got the kill if it wasnt me i say curteously.. (nice kil to whome ever got that one, glad to help)

there simply is no reason to bark over kill stealling in a conflict zone.. in an anarchy nav point however its a different story as i usually chase those ppl away if they get in my way (but most usually go for their kills and i go for mine, nice mutual play pvper's have at nav points *mostly*

I just got annihilated by CMDR **** (I think that was his name) there. He was in a Fer De Lance and was using actual tactics against my amateur flying skills. Rammed me to finish me off just as I thought I was about to safely jump away. Was great fun though, wish I'd come to Lugh earlier!

yeah i've seen that cmdr he's a good pilot wouldnt mind a 1v1 with the fella sometime should circumstance present themselves. however we have to becareful on the threads here as we're not allowed to name and shame.. not theres nothing in the rules here for name and Admire .. even if we dont like loosing to them hehehe (clarifying that before a mod closes this thread)

Also since it was mentioned twice - Mobius does have PvP in CZs. There are simple rules of 'courtesy' in that you don't attack or attack-as a neutral. But players on opposing sides are fair game. the fdl couldnt manouver fast enough btw hence the manouvers i said i did .. but my focus on him distracted me from the combined fire power of the other three whom were much more manouverable (mistake on my part hence 26% hull)

agreed and even in a CZ you dont have to be in a wing to do it.. the curtesy is if you see one of the other pilots on a kill the next time return the favour. to quote the dearly departed (SIMPLE LOGIC!)
