I just hope we can get stuff like that combined with proper 3D audio, including proper spatialization, reverbs etc. Now that would be awesome, especially combined with VR.

Jingles is right to say what he did and the reactions are pretty amusing. Ultimately, SC should be a great game. But right now, grown men are paying real money for the sci-fi equivalent of Wendy Houses.

Maybe, but don't tell me it doesn't sound like a believable outcome ?
You'd be surprised if they started selling villas on top of a hill, with a beautiful view, to "enrich" your FPS experience, where your friends can gather, roam your house, see your medals and achievements on your private billboard, pamper with your virtual pet that you customized, chat in your private bar or a pool, etc. ?
All that for just $999 ? Your private place on Terra, where you can wave your friends while they're having scripted landing sequence over your villa ?

No,no, pool,landing pad,private bar,balcony...etc are all extras and not included with the apartment's they should sell this in VD shop don't ruin their proved sales concept pls.....

I suppose anything is possible, Roberts only has to look at his mate Garriot and his buddies over at Illfonic who are both playing virtual real estate manager with their backers.
