Indeed, I watched GamesWipe about seven times and it just kept getting better.

Then again, I've taken a liking to pretty much everything Charlie Brooker has had a hand in producing (Though I'm still slightly disturbed by "White Bear" even to this day...)

haha just beat me to it! No. 21 in the top 25 most important games ever or something like that, right behind manic miner and..... (damn adverts) Wonder if as epilogue, E D will be mentions as successor to Elite - here's hoping!

It was a good show, packed full of gaming gods.

My favourite line was Robert Florence talking about the chatter you hear on call of duty being like a choir of children singing The Aristocrats joke for hour upon hour.

I do hope the show has sparked a little curiosity about Elite though.

Just watched, was a great programme. Obviously much missed out because it's such a huge area to cover, but what they did was very good.

Great to see David Braben and Kate Russell on there, both singing Elite's name

Was a great show, covered a lot of issues and wasn't afraid to attack the industry for its failings on modern problems, whilst also celebrating what's great about games. No mention of ED, alas, but at least Elite itself got a good showing

Oh, and Elite wasn't listed as 21/25, they were just showing the games in chronological order. Not sure why they bothered with the numbers.
