[ANNOUNCEMENT] Win an Nvidia Geforce Titan Black in our in-game Scavenger Hunt

At first, it sounded like an advertisement and it ticked me off. "Oh no, not ads in the news..."

Well, that's still better and certainly more unobtrusive than Mercedes ads flickering in front of station entrances, in my opinion. I was worried about in-game advertisement of that sort, as it could easily be extremely detrimental to the mood of the game, but if this is how sponsoring is gonna work, I'm all for it. I just wish FD wouldn't try to hamfist the whole event description into a Galnet broadcast. The line about 'open play' reads rather cringeworthy.

I can't imagine anyone using Galnet as the sole source of information on events like this. So, dear FD, either be a bit more mindful when fitting the wording of event news into an in-universe mold, or - what I'd personally prefer - don't bother doing that at all and formulate the Galnet entry no differently from the newsletter paragraph on this, marked decidedly as not an in-universe news item. The server maintenance notification doesn't bother with that either, after all.

There has to be some keyword or something. No way all of us players can search 450 billion star systems in time. would take years!!

The key has to have something to do with "Reynhardt IntelliSys". But the cards are not in the Leesti system at either station......

Because Reynhardt IntelliSys is an in-game corporation that "worked" with NVIDIA on the prototype.

Are they in any other systems? They are not a real company, but are attached to this scavenger hunt in the Galnet post. They have to be important.

well i headed off to check the unique stations such as jaques, leonard nimoy etc no joy, have been doing missions for the intellisys lot ever since the first galnet post came out, went back to every station/post i had visited doing missions for them and nothing at any of them.

Just finished a late shift and got early shift tomorrow. I'm out of the race already. Boo hoo!! ;)

It wouldn't fit in my laptop anyway. Ha!

"The NVIDIA labs, in association with Reynhardt IntelliSys, ..." !

Why "in association with Reynhardt IntelliSys" ? Why this faction in particular ?
That's why I think "Reynhardt IntelliSys" is THE hint for this contest !

And what do we know about "Reynhardt IntelliSys" : it's a faction (Independent Corporate) in a current civil war at Leesti !

I think that we need to find another system with this faction, where we will find the card ! And maybe we can find another hint at Leesti !
