I guess there is no reason for galactic time to have daylight savings, but I was quite confused this morning so thought I would share the warning - galactic standard time is no longer the same as uk time so don't play longer than you intended, like I just did :)

UTC - Coordinated Universal Time

That time doesn't change.
Universal is closer to the galaxy than British Summer Time ;)

You were confused that galactic time did not have the daylight saving? For which part of the galaxy you would want to save the (day)light then? ;)

Isn't that obvious? Daylight savings time should be on the same side as the daylight side of the sun and not on the night time side of the sun! ;)

British Summer Time in the 34th Century?!

Since we put our clocks forward last weekend, my game time on station displays has been an hour behind.. has Summer Time been abandoned in the future then?!:p

You'd think playing a game that depicts a future where humanity has left the cradle of earth and spread amongst the stars, you might recognise not everyone is in the same time zone and using the shame DLS system and "one small island", in "some other hemisphere" :p
