What can I buy in the Elite Online Store?

Hi all,

What do you think will be the items on sale? Will it be ships & weapons, or game packages or physical goodies or what?

Thanks...

maybe they will do decals etc i can imagine that i hope we can see the decals i want a super nova like decal or maybe a black white and grey zigzag as that is a camoflauge method they once used on ships as it confused periscope users

Providing that you are flying in a bit of space with a curiously zig zaggy grey black and white background feature, or parked on a space zebra of course

acturly no it confused the targetters due to the fact you struggle to gadge its perspective and range thus making it harder to target via angles etc though it might not work in space, plus your not a submarine targetting a ship via a periscope

You'll be able to buy the "purchase only" ship hull - Sword of Damocles, you also get a free decal of Cassandra or a Horse to go with it.
You can also get some fluffy dice, some nice slippers and a cup of tea.

From an on-line shop I want some in-line skates, a pair of unlined curtains and an aniline leather sofa.

I want actual models of Elite ships, especially the Anaconda, however i realise tooling costs are horrible so versions for 3D printers will do.

Actually something id like to see if a custom decal thing, maybe you have a generator and you can make your own decal for a specific ship that then they of course check to see if its fine to be used so you dont get stupid stuff

I'll be happy if they just sell Jaffa Cakes.

on line store

A handy bucket with all kinds of detailing products for cleaning and polishing off space grime and those pesky carbon score marks from laser blasts.

A false beard in the style of Michael Brookes (and a premium version made of hair from the man himself), various DB jumpers and cardys, a book of Mike Evan's quips, anecdotes and put-downs...oh and probably some merchandising ;)

To be more precise, "Dazzle camouflage" as it was known, was used to break up the apparent profile of vessels and give them the appearance of multiple prows such that it was very difficult to tell which way it was pointing. This was in the day that you had to work out which direction a ship was going, calculate where it would be at a future point in time and launch a torpedo at it such that their paths intersected. The era of fighter aircraft effectively ended the usefulness of dazzle camouflage.
