Commander Jintosh is an Explorer, though she had done some trading in the past to be able to afford her current explorer Hauler. My other Commander, Yshara, is a Bounty Hunter, protecting those who are less able to protect themselves by removing the stain of piracy from the galaxy. (I've two accounts, if you wondered . . . yes, I like the game so much I bought it twice)

Space bum.
I made 95% of my CR's bounty hunting. Once I bought my clipper, I did some trading. A few million CR worth. Then, I headed out on a one week exploration trip. I came back to civilization to do a ship exchange.
Then, I went back to Eravate to help new pilots make some CR's. This has been fun, doing some trading and BH in wings.
But, another exploration mission is calling me.
I've done most mission types except mining and pirating. I do want to try both though

Explorer Trader
Bounty hunter, occasional explorer and general "pilot for hire". Usually operating on the lawful side of whatever jurisdiction I'm in, but sometimes crossing the line, for the right price

Happy trader here in a beefed up python so the npcs (and ocassional player pirate) interdicting me are seen more of a "bounty income" than a thread.
Sometimes i like to hop in my cobra or Asp and do some exploring.
VERY occasional i like to hop in my Vulture and to a bit of RES.
And every so often i like to load up with palladium, go to the newbie hubs and do the "santa" while showing the newbs some of the ropes of cargo scooping and
answer questions.

Everything else I do is in support of that one profession, and, although I'm new..I'm very good. Good enough to have attracted the Emperor's eye. Which is what happened when I defected from the Federation, and moved to Empire space.
How the meeting happened is classified..suffice to say he was impressed by my skills. I'm one of his personal agents..I do his bidding. I report directly to him..ONLY to him. I have a list. If you're on it..you die. If, on my own, I see anyone acting against the Empire's interest..you die. lethal force is authorized.. That means, any Federation or Alliance pilot(and ANYONE who is "wanted") is "fair game".
My primary ship is my Viper. She's well-suited to this task. Once commssioned as an Agent of the Empire, I re-christened her the Ardors Hempen
It's an anagram.
It means: "Emperor's Hand".

Explorer. I would say a mid range explorer but hopefully will make it to long range on my current trip. Oh I'm only 12500ly out just now, as I said mid range.
