PLEASE sometime set 50% sale on steam

The game should be freeware and they should carry on developing it just for the love....

And there should be a quicker dev schedule like:

Monday: Thargoids
Tuesday: Atmospheric flight with fully developed city's on every inhabited planet.
Wednesday: 20 new ships.
Thursday: Release on Xbox, PS4, Mac, and Ipad and Commodore Amiga
Friday: 7 new galaxies with Galactic hyperspace.

Next Monday: Ability to leave ships and walk around fully developed citys, starports and alien landscapes.
Tuesday: Fix combat logging and have a proper client server model.

But i guess that if they did ALL THAT people on here would still complain that its too expensive....Pzzt

ED will definitely get a price cut in the future (as every other game in existence, ever), we don't really know when though. OP, wait for a Steam sale this summer, or the first paid expansion.

Indeed some of us have but a steam sale would be a good idea.. I don't really care if people get to play the game for a bargain price, the more the merrier I say and thats got to be good for the game.

I'm sure people will even buy a new account.

And if there is a sale I expect FD to refund the difference back to everyone who paid full price. If I knew it was going to be on sale I wouldn't have paid extra for Premium Beta.

Whaattt? really? Do you realize how unrealistic it is? I mean, come on... Thargoids before cities? And cities before walking around? It should be the other way around, so we can walk in the nice cities and then have them Micheal Bayed by the Thargoids

I'm sure the OP can buy the game from one of the millions of disaffected "offline-mode" players who recently left in a huff. Probably for about 5 Euros.

It will happen, probably not anytime soon, but eventually.....my guess is, in the run-up to the first paid expansion.

Yes, according to the doom merchants there is almost no one playing as everyone has quit. There should be at least 300,000 second hand copies available virtually free.

I am inclined to say; not worth it, for the price Elite has less to offer than other games at the same price point.
...but then that's just me.
If you are after the VR experience, then I hear it is a must buy and well worth the price.
