I voted all players group, but like many here, reserve the right to switch to solo groups depending how it pans out... Maybe even as Zarkon says, see how it goes, then if its anarchy, switch out to build up cash, rep, better equipment and then re-join.

I like ass kickin - retaliation stylee!!!

I voted Solo Off line, as that is the Elite 4 i've been waiting years for. But as i can't vote more than once i will also look to play Solo play and Private servers group.

Definitely not Public Group as that always kills games for me.

Hmmm...couldn't find the 'Do whatever you wanna do on a day-to-day basis and not have to explain why' option, or the 'Undecided as of yet' option :D

Dunno, yet...so I'll go with my own 'Not sure' option.

Thanx,

Dryza.

At this point, I don't know.

Ideally I'd like to play in the all-group, because it could be amazing. Realistically I'm not convinced that it will be a fun place to play in, but I'll reserve my opinion 'til after I've tried it.

All group.
Anf I'll add IRONMAN mode if you don't mind! :)
Same here.

Here's the plan:
  • Start a character at the founder's world, have a fly around just to see the sights, then promptly fly into the sun and delete that sucker.
  • Play a few hours/days in normal just to get the hang of things.
  • Start ironman, with a sidewinder. Stay in the all group no matter what. Keep going until I'm dead (in game or real life!).
I actually find group hopping not fun. Hiding away in private instances until you're "ready" feels against the spirit of the game to me, like save scumming in a roguelike.

I chose all players. At the time of FE2, I was already thinking "if Elite was like in real life." With its ups and downs ... But with the dynamics of diversity

We think alike.

Play a while in normal, get the hang go it, then hardcore ironman until dead.

Rinse, delete, repeat.

now.... let me think about this.

i backed the project because it offered elite as an online multiplayer game.....

what were the options again?

Has to be 'all players' for me.

I think the PvP debates have been distracting - I'm sure there will be some, but I think/hope that the majority of the interaction between players will be co-operative.
