Stimulating the Game economy and its stagnation

At the moment from what i see the game has become a trader based economy they have very little things that cause a loss, for example i think that it should be more of a heavily recommended thing that traders higher mercs to defend them and the fact that then pirates should be made more viable it just feels that the game has been pandered that way to avoid "PVP" which has thus caused the economy to develop major issues, what would you say to defend the way traders and the games economy is being treated like at this moment in time. Why the huge anti focus against players engaging each other and not allowing for the ability of players to clash with the fact interdiction does not work decently ?

Hello. When the game was released, you said that the translations would come soon.

A few months later, the game content is updated, but we have no idea when will come the translation into castellano (Spanish). According to the design file, the game will be in many languages, i thought at the official launch we would have at least 4 or 5 of those languages, but has not, so im very disappointed.
So i have 2 questions.

Will Powerplay bring translations?
And if not..
You will continue launching content, preparing DLC and a version (in my opinion) too early for XB One, or you will begin to work on translations, as you promised us?

I think "Soon TM" are not nearly 5 months waiting, and it's easy to find a couple of people who translate and replace the basic texts. JUST THE BASIC TEXT, please. We can wait for the rest.

Thanks.

2 questions:
.
1) Some systems already have the limit of 5 sub-factions. Will these new PP factions kick one of those factions out? Or will they "take control" of a similarly aligned sub-faction that is already in the system?
.
2) As has been seen in the Lugh opposing community goals, if my priority is to win the community goal, it is better for me to do so in the Solo mode, as the "grind" to collect bounties, commodities, etc... is always optimal in Solo. For example, a conflict zone in open with several commanders will become empty with a spawn rate too slow to accommodate more and more commanders. Or a wing of commanders will share a common pool, where each commander would have their own pool if they each went into solo. So my question is: has this discrepancy been acknowledged by FDev?
.
To follow up, the way I imagine things turning out if they stay as they are: As long as their chosen faction are winning, players that are inclined to prefer Open over Solo will play in Open. However, if their priority is for their faction to succeed, if their faction faces stiff opposition, those same players will feel obliged to move into Solo mode. This will cause resentment that will continue to fuel the Open vs. Solo balance debate. I would very much like to see a solution that allows people to play in the mode they want, including Open.

Somehow I doubt that the 3D artists, programmers, designers, audio engineers, animators and other developers will be much help when it comes to localization work. Them working on the things you mentioned does in no way slow down localization work. Based on previous comments from the devs translations isn't even done in-house to begin with. Hopefully you'll get it sooner rather than later though.

Thanks for the news, thanks for this great game and thanks for the free content...

Will it be possible to dock at "enemy stations"?

As an EvE online player,
(in his 10th year, 5 years into factional warfare)
i hope its not.

Station campers in enemy territory can really kill immersion and are a pain in the ...

Powerplay will add a lot of important and interesting stuff but... some players will not going to enjoy it until traslation to their languages.

For example, lot of spanish players bought the game because FD promise the Spanish traslation.

Will Powerplay bring in new languages (like spanish)?

When can we see passenger or troop transport missions, persistent AI characters, AI wingmen, crews for ships, and better comms with AI?

Q1: How will power play effect the existing empire/federation rank system already established in game

Q2: Will this open the way to faction/power specific gear i.e. Empire beam lasers with more damage but higher heat generation ?

Q3:any chance of very basic in game clan formation just for putting tags on ourselves and friends nothing major like our own stations or anything just a group that we can join and stick our own tags on maybe even pledge our group to a power.

Q4: any chance of players with ships with 2 seats can ferry someone to another station for the purpose of moving ships to other stations as id like to move a few ships to where i am going to be basing myself without purchasing a ton of sidewinders as shuttle

Q5: player storage? any chance this might be happening at all?

What happens if one of the 20 factions is utterly destroyed by the other one? Is the slot emptied for another minor to go "Big", or we're ending up with 19 factions only?

Will other powers members be enemies to me (eg: show as red) will opposing powers players and NPC ships be patrolling in SC and at stations attempting to stop me entering and attack me. Or will i only meet opposing powers in instanced zones that replay over and over as is the case now in combat zones. if so how is all this supposed to work in solo mode, or will their be major changes to the open/solo modes.

Will powerplay be VR friendly ?
In the announcement all the write up information for the faction is in red, will there be a way to change the font color for those of us using VR or that are red\green colorblind ?

Hello Edward,

Wow, this update seems to bring so many changes! One more time, I am so glad to see your team put so much effort to bring this game to its full potential and, above all, listen to us, commanders! :)

I am the kind of players who likes a slow challenging progression, and wants to enjoy a game as long as possible. Currently I own "only" an asset of about 30 mil credits, am "only" combat expert and pathfinder, federal chief officer but allied with Feds, Empire and Alliance.

Once it is released, would it be somehow advised to start from scratch, in order to enjoy from A to Z this PowerPlay? Starting by lower rank missions and progressing/earning your stripes on the go?
What would players with already all the money they need, and ranked among the highest (that's not me yet, I know), somehow miss for joining PowerPlay at the level they are at?
Or the opposite, does PowerPlay somehow requires a minimum level of credits and rank to be really enjoyable?

EDIT: Also, will there be some ship specific missions? I loved to fly the viper (engine sound, 4 hardpoints for weapon diversity, less shield/hull for more challenge!) but can't find a reason not to fly the Vulture instead...
And of course, any missions specific to the dropship (dropping troops?) and Orca would be more than welcome!

Hi,
Thanks for all the hard work it's much appreciated. Steam integration, Xbox, Mac, treasure hunts, powerplay and other updates.
Many of us would like the option of multiple commanders (or at least the better integration/installation of more than one account), will that be coming soon? It's already an issue for many of us and has been discussed for a year.
On a similar note Ironman is also looked forward to.
Thank you
Regards
John
