Hey "moderators" how about stepping in here and getting this back on the OP subject? There are plenty of threads where people can have a go about the exploit merits.

The lave cluster is great eh look at this emergent gameplay opportunity!

Thought this would get relegated into the doldrums section of the forum. It's a post about a community goal. Don't see posts about the other community goals getting relegated in here.

I was KOS tonight by one of the CODE: minding my own business going to take part in the community goal at Zaonce.

Was griefed by one of those players, interdicted and blown away with no warning other than the text message telling me he was CODE and it was KOS.

Nice one....

The best part of this is if you watch one of their streams you will see they spend half their time in game complaining nobody is in open and the few that are combat log. Instead of figuring out a way to get more interaction they come up with plans to KOS and run off more to solo or mobius lol

Me too - killed instantly without any chance of defence.
I think these guys should be banned from this game - ruins an exellent game for the rest of us. I lost about 1.000.000 hardearned credits in 20 secs - NOT FUNNY!
Is there any way to report them to the admins, or is it just "bad luck"?

What's all this about an independent Caribbean? I had to high tail it out of Zaonce last night after someone claiming to be from the code started shooting at me. I was slightly high and trying to conduct an instant messaging conversation with a wench of mine so I wasn't paying enough attention to what was going on in game. I'd gone there to help the alliance.

I can't see a problem with this group. However it would/will be nice to see the opposition group emerge.

I have to give CODE credit, they are on the ball in Zaonce. I've been destroyed twice in my Python (I refuse to combat log and prefer to play in open) by overwhelming but fair tactics. I can say that both deaths were completely legit and there was no cheating or hacking involved.

While I am stinging from the insurance costs (it really, really hurts), I can't fault the CODE guys here. They seem to be working within the game structure and are bringing an extra bit of spice to a CG within their AOE which actually makes sense for them to oppose. Well done, guys (and no, I won't be bringing my Python back for a third go!)

Ah lucky you! A couple of wings of my usual playing group went in yesterday afternoon ish central european time looking for WANTED PC or NPC and found no Code to be seen In Zaonce. We hit several RES and even in SC around the nav beacon etc didnt seem to produce any major results PVP wise. We found many PC but none too belligerant or simply CLEAN (presume Code members do not pay their own bounties?), maybe an instancing issue or we went in too early?

with the lack of an opposite official goal this is the only way they can help their chosen side that being jet family in this instance. It's not griefing or personal it's just the game. Enjoy.

During my tour this morning, i managed two interdict to bounty hunters.

Both unfortunately had the fabled "Braben Combatlog Drive" installed.

Why not try to fight against someone your own size instead of blowing us beginners into oblivion?
I will use my "escape" button any time I meet any of you CODE-jerks - you are ruining the game imnsho !

Although you shouldn't use the exploit at all, regardless of others...

I spend the entire yesterday evening in the Zaonce system...first doing some bounty hunting at a distant RES, and then I signed up for the CG.
Went to the RES near the volcanic planet (Zaonce 1?), and found myself flying amongst at least 10 cmdrs there.
But no-one showed any hostility - not towards me, or towards any other cmdr.
Everyone was just hunting npcs.
