Nearly found my holy grail, nearly !

UPDATE : Found my 2nd to top holy grail :D
I found my first Earth-Like orbiting another planet orbiting a star :D
(my top would be Earthlike orbiting another Earthlike)

Which is Earth-like orbiting an Earth-Like (or another planet, 2nd to EL orbiting EL)

Here is my first WW orbiting another WW :D
(made from 2 screenshots)

feel free to register it before me if you wish :)

And to top this thread off, I got rep from CMDR Haggis McMoose , what a brill name :D
(need to friend him)

Nice! I thought I found my holy grail today, jumping into a non-sequence that showed a black hole. I arrived at the black hole and honked. 14 objects. I pull up the system map and get this...

Black Hole What the Heck.png

I might need to run some maintenance on the Adv Scanner. If those are a system of little black holes, that'll be a blast to try to navigate through. The gravity lensing should be incredible. I'm about to honk again, and if they're still black holes, I'm going in.

Wish me luck!

UPDATE: The subsequent honking still showed the planetary bodies as black. It was a Class I gas giant. I guess the lack of a star meant they were jet black. Just about ran into the dang thing. Had to use the backdrop of the Milky Way to see it. The moons were pitch black too.

Not the holy grail, but quite an interesting system!

I just nearly found my Holy Grail. I spotted "CIRCINUS PULSAR". Yes a Pulsar, labeled a Pulsar ! 4 days to get there, and not only is it already tagged, but it is just a Neutron Star. No massive radiation damage, no nothing.

It is terrifying to think that somewhere out there in the universe, there are planets orbiting a black hole in complete darkness.

I hit a similar system a few days ago, i thought the same...Great! lots of mini black holes!...on scanning the whole system my thought then was if there's no sunlight in this system then everything would look black!

I've found a system, where two earth-likes orbit each other. Too bad I didn't remember to write the name down, nor take a screenshot of the system map, just some selfies.

Not sure if it's a bug or intentional... but yes, I've had the exact same. Seems like black hole as main (or only) star being the common denominator here - so either a bug or intentional to illustrate the lack of light.

Most likely intentional, as icy planets around a brown dwarf are pink.

One of my exploration goals was black hole close to a star to see if there is any kind of feeding. Too bad i didnt record it neither wrote down name of system but there was really black hole so close to a star that i was fuel scooping while approaching BH
