btw, now that we know some more precise dimensions for the ships, we can confirm that a sidewinder will indeed fit inside a Conda as planned.
Here is a Condor launching from an Anaconda (GDC trailer).

As you can see, the condor is approximately a little wider than the launch rails protruding from the bay door. We know from FDEV that the Condor is 10.5m wide, and that the Conda is about 62 meters wide, with much of that width taken by the launch bay at the bottom. Here is a pic for reference.

A sidewinder is 21m wide. It fits, although I think everyone would want to have something else inside.
Another thing i just noticed that is a bit odd. These ships are huge. Why is it that we don't get into multi-crew territory until the asp? The viper is almost the size of a 747 and yet can only support 1 person? These ships must be jammed packed with loads of components.
No Imperial Fighter / F63 Condor?
What monies I would pay to have a physical model to place on my desk!
Why are they all aerodynamically designed?
Why are they all aerodynamically designed?
The Adder has 2, so does the Cobra. I think the Asp is one of the few where they mention multiple crew in the ship description.
Very difficult to scan 3d models of ships you can't own or fly yet.
I am not sure they really are (T6, T7), but we will eventually get planetary landings. So....
