I have noticed communication issues yesterday. I was interdicted and got away in my Asp and then I see a direct asking why i didn't heed his request. I was like what request, I never saw it. He then types it in and it was a good RP script from a pirate. I felt bad that I didn't see it so I dropped 10t like he requested on my next run, he put in the effort and made me laugh so I rewarded him. I think local goes a little screwy when there is a lot of traffic around.

Nope. It wasn't you or any of the ones you were with. And I got interdicted again by someone when passing through Persephone empty, exiting the area. Barely got away that time and only because he let me, but with major damage. His name indicated someone who just likes to kill to see the lovely light.
But I can make more money trading Palladium anyway. Think this has done it with CG's for me. Not worth the time and effort. I've lost 2 or 3 million credits and only gotten about 800 or 900k in profits. Try to participate in a community event and get kicked in the teeth; several times. So no more for me. It's just not fun with the griefers. And I don't mean you Malfahri. You were performing legitimate role play.

Are you the same guys that interdicted me there yesterday? Must be the same group at least, I didn't make a note of the cmdr names. Because nobody said anything for a while until I asked "what now?" and then suddenly they talked to me. So either they were being inexplicably silent or something hinky is happening to the comms, and me transmitting somehow fixed it.

Yeah they got me too. They warned me not to haul ritalin for these rebel kids. Pretty reprehensible really. I will continue to support Quivira in any way I can and the rebels will continue to provide me with millions.
Eh np. It's just in the video linked up-thread you immediately sent a message to cut engines &c. I didn't get any of that. That's why I had my hardpoints deployed, I expected them to start shooting, but they didn't. They just floated there staring at me until I said something. It was a bit spooky tbh.Yeah it was us. Hey one more thing. Check your comms panel and see if you have "Incoming Text Channels" - "local" set to off
:facepalm: Yeah. That was it. Don't know how it got set to off. Grrrrr!!! Ok. I'll take some responsibility here. But why wouldn't there be some kind of indicator? I can see why they got rid of the Flight Assist indicator; Its rather easy to tell when you have flight assist off. Just move your stick a bit. You'll know in a hurry. But there is no ready way of knowing "receive Local" is off. I didn't even know the setting existed until I saw your post.
Wow, glad this is resolved. The only reason I thought of it was because I had a commander try to direct voice me yesterday, but because I have it set to off, all I get is the radio beeps. It would be nice if FD did something like this:

Isn't this why your meant to send the message directly to the commander....
When I am winged up I chat in local so my win(g)men can see exactly what I am telling the interdictee.

I have a quest,ion. I was interdicted the other night and told to jettison my load of agri meds. Which I did as I didn't think much of my chances of fighting a wing of clippers alone. Problem is these were agri meds and I was not on my way to persephone, I was taking them to an agriculture system, would you have believed me if I had transmitted that, and let me go. I did not transmit that because I did not want to get destroyed because I was seen as stalling, . The cargo wasn't that big of a deal as opposed to the 3M butback of my ship. Agri meds were not part of the community goal at persephone
