EDIT: Actually, maybe not as the shield is only Class 3. But the value is still big, more than a Viper. Not sure if the outfitting screen has it right though, as the devs said the manoeuvrability of the Dback was mistaken.

shield strength is based on each ship, not the shield size vs ship mass. Eagle has size 3 shields too.
Its not looking that bad. Id say it might be better than a viper.
Don't like the weapons out on the wings though.
Aren't the shields just size 2? Am I missing something?
Edit: Oh, I see you can put a size 3 in there - but that's still only like 100MJ or so, isn't it? How is that tougher than a Vulture? I don't understand.

A size 3 shield might be a bit overkill for this ship, the benefit does cap out you see
