I think Frontier should sell those in their shop. It would be cool to include some merchandise harking back to the old games, as well as stuff related to the new one. In some ways, I reckon they'd be much more saleable, in the same way people wear the Atari logo.

Maybe on the back could be a reference to E: D? Like a new style cobra, or just the date 2014 or something.

Firebird Elite on Cassette - Baseball-Cap
I found these earlier and never brought one and have only found them again just now. Though I won't be able to buy one just yet.
I was looking for the Elite t=shirts based on the original game.
They have the golden bird emblem/insignia. In between it's outstretched wings are wire frame images of a Cobra-Mark-Three on the right and a Coriolis-Space-Station on the left beside it over a red background.
The t-shirts come in a variety of different colours.
I have a black one and you can see me wearing it in one or two of my game play videos.
It's pretty cool, I wearing it right now. I have been for a whole week.
Otherwise I can't seem to find any on Ebay or anywhere else.
Except for the base-ball caps.
