Log off and request for help on the forum and when you get a positive response from someone you believe that you can trust, accept them into your private group and log back on in said private group to await rescue - ganking prevented

The GotNoLifes in Leesti & Diso & Orrere are definitely not friendly. They use Conda & Clipper to kill anything without any reason what so ever other than say to the world - "we want to encourage PvP". That style does not work you griefers. Get them reported for it.

It depends if you were in an anaconda or not.

Yeah, the fel shadow of Powerplay is not bringing out the best in people, I suspect.
I wouldn't, space is tough and there is no room for failure, I don't risk my ship unless there is more of an incentive than altruism.
To be brutally honest I wouldn't even stop if you were in the same system in case it was a trap, most commanders here are probably perfectly nice, but you only need to meet the one that isn't once and that's your livelihood and maybe your life gone in seconds.

I would help if I had the equipment installed on my ship, but I reckon it will be fairly rare to come across players with them installed to refuel you.
I have the open space on my Asp specifically to set up for a future endeavor like this. But only because it's namesake real world ship did the same thing on a few occasions.
