1.2 New Goods-Hafniuim 178, Painite, AI Relics, Antiquities, Military Intel, Unkown Artefact

Found 1 piece of Antiquities in SSS in a Type9, guarded by 2 anacondas, all of them were Imperial Navy Vessels. In another SSS type9 was hauling Hafnium.
Seems so, Navy Vessels are carrying these valuable items.

Went into Isinor with a FDL and a Vulture. FDL took out the shields on the Cow9 and launched 2 limpets. One was destroyed one connected. 30 seconds later 'syphoning failed' message. Took out the cargo doors, no loot. This thing had 4 Resonating Capacitors and 4 Antiquities and it would not give them up for love nor laser.

If anyone can get the limpets to work it maybe worth it.

In my experience limpets never work on T-9, the only way to make them drop their cargo is the damage the cargo hatch until canisters star popping out.

I was farming the Antiquities in Isinor for quite a bit before the Lugh military intelligence mission came around. Same as the type 9 there you need to destroy the point defense turrets before limpiting...they CAN make it through, but destroying the turrets is easy and they make it through 100% then.

So kill or disable the two Anacondas - I fly an Imperial Clipper which has weakish shields so I just shoot out their drives, then down type 9 shields, then kill 3 point defense turrets, then limpit. I do all this solo and scoop the Antiquities before the popo arrives so with two people you can do it I'm sure.

From what I remember they ranged from 3 antiquities + resonating capacitors up to I think 9 antiquities was the most I saw.

Also I can confirm AI Relics are found in SSS. It was in a pirate trap and it was only one canister.

you can hatch antiquities out of the T9, using limpets on most targets is a waste of time currently - especially on something as easy to shoot the hatch on as T9s.

They sell for ~ 100k each, so you get 3-400k per round, but solo it is hard work.

I've seen AI and Halfnium in SSS's either on the ground or in a T9 with 4, yes 4 condas + vultures (don't understand this is this, like 100k worth of goods for an immense fight lol)

I expect alien relics or w/e they are called to go in Witch's when thargoids get put in, as that system can't be accessed currently.

Hello Mr Storm Sir!

Do you mind me asking where you got the images in the open post?

Got hold of another.

It was banned because there was some AI war, I expect one day we will face their ancestors and it going to be on big bloody and oily mess.

"What began as a conflict over the transfer of consciousness from flesh to machines escalated into a war which has decimated a million worlds. The Core and the Arm have all but exhausted the resources of a galaxy in their struggle for domination. Both sides now crippled beyond repair, the remnants of their armies continue to battle on ravaged planets, their hatred fueled by over four thousand years of total war. This is a fight to the death. For each side, the only acceptable outcome is the complete elimination of the other."

Sounds like Total Annihilation.

Quick question, I picked up a mission where I had to deliver/find some ancient artifacts. Now the question is, in which instance are these dropping? USS, SSS, or WSS?

I have found some waste, minerals, and even communication canisters in WSS, I have found Battle groups of haulers with Condas in SSS, and USS are mostly fight missions in which you have do either down someone, or you get mission update communications.

Any help on this is welcomed.

Nobody mentioned this in this thread yet (I don't think...)

I found the AI Relics in a "Huge Signal Source", not just a "Unidentified Signal Source". These rare finds are possibly guarded by a few large ships or a larger number of smaller ships.

I was in a Viper and if I'd been more on the ball, I could probably have ninja-salvaged the AI relics, but I got sidetracked by the 6 NPCs shooting me from all angles with their beam lasers. At least 2 of them were Cobra mkIII. As for the others... I ran like hell and got out with 56% hull.

Edit:

Just for info, I was in an Anarchy system and the NPCs I scanned were all from a local pirate faction. There was a Federation station in the system and although I saw a Federation convoy earlier and assorted Federation ships around, the faction guarding the AI Relics was "Independent" and very aggressive. All turned red within seconds of spawning in, and all started flashing to show they were firing on me very soon after.

Good luck to anyone going for these juicy salvage items. I would recommend "speed-salvage and run" ninja-style tactics unless you have a very powerful ship. ;)
