But you are wrong as Alpha was £200 meaning there was no way that joining Alpha would cost £10 or £15 for your pledge level.

Edit: Sorry, I was getting my Alphas / Premiums and Betas muddled up. I pledged £90 to get my DRM-free boxed edition as you say. However, during the Premium Beta there was an offer for "upgrade" to the £100 level to get Premium Beta access. I went to do this, assuming I'd pay just the additional £10, taking me to a total of £100 pledged, but I was charged £15. My £90 is only valued at £85 for some reason. I challenged this but was told my £90 pledge was only work £85.

Why £90 pledged was only "worth" £85 I do not know. Even now, my account page shows two products, one at £35 one at £50, despite FD getting £90 from me. I gave up.

Yes there was a thread about this yesterday. Premium Beta (and regular beta backers I think), will be getting an additional free ship beyond the Sidewinder and Eagle.

There's also a crimson red eagle decal if you're a beta backer.

So far I am still missing:

• Exclusive pack of ship paint jobs (or was this "pack" the merc + crimson paint? But one of them is the day-1-decal, so the other one couldn't be a "pack"?)
• A ‘day one’ ship decal
• A digital concept art book
• Plus loads more digital goodies to be announced over the coming weeks (it's over half a year after release, and no digital goodies have been implemented / anounced)

Personally, I regret having paid that much for premium beta, especially when considering the low ambition in terms of content and technology and the unhelpful customer support.

I'm still waiting for my premium box replacement to arrive :(

First one arrived over a month after they sent it, all crushed and ripped at one side, been waiting weeks for a replacement but nothing and my PM's seem to be ignored :(

For that, I expect a higher level of ambition. E.g. I have pledged much more to SC, but in turn the project has a much larger scope.
Also, the scope of E:D has considerably shrunk with the removal of single player offline mode.

I don't know about you but I DO have some extra paintjobs I'm pretty sure I didn't get from the store--the Classic Wireframe and Mercenary skins for the Cobra. Perhaps you haven't flown a Cobra since the game was released?

I fly the Cobra regularly, it has the Merc skin, but I never got a "classic wireframe" skin or ever heard about it.
I have some paintjobs from the store, but I stopped buying them after the last issue with support.

I dunno about the rest, never looked for a digital concept art book; check your available downloads. And 'loads more digital goodies' is pretty vague.

FD didn't give themselves a time limit on that stuff though.

The digital concept art book isn't there, and the "more digital goodies" where to be announced over the "coming weeks", which is a smaller scope than half a year.

The Limited Edition Classic Wireframe Cobra paint job was released last year to celebrate Elite's 30th Anniversary.

It was available from the store and wasn't a freebie

Poor English from FD yet again led to this confusion. I, too, think it is one specific one.

Whatever: it is totally irrelevant. Utterly meaningless. By the time FD get around to finishing the 30 ships, it will be a year or so since the release date. I find it hard to believe there will be many people who are eligible for the free ship who will find it useful. Most will be rich by then, some mega-rich. Unless they are going to hand out a really big ship (the equivalent of an Anaconda, say), It will be a 'so what?'. I expect that the first thing I will do is sell it ...

The dark wheel sequel book is available for download if you go to the Elite Dangerous store -> My Account -> My Downloadable Products.

(along with Wallpapers, ringtones, screensavers etc)

I got in at the £100 premium beta level and can't see the book in the "my downloadable products". I can see
  • ringtones & message alerts
  • Screensavers
  • Theme Soundset
  • Wallpapers

Am I alone in this?

All these what do I get posts. I don't know guys, I was a little late to the party, that's why I only have the premium beta - but the moment I saw the "news" DB coming out with a new Elite, I just went

Didn't care about the convoluted options. No regrets :)

The only reason I know the skull is a special decal is that I had someone commenting on it just yesterday....

Sorry, I have to correct myself: it's a paintjob for the eagle, it's not a decal.
As decals I have only the merc ones + the regular ones (Explorer/Trader/Combat)
