Not really. Nobody really knows the racial identity of the stormtroopers in general, they could be mostly dark-skinned for all we know. Heimdallr, regardless of Marvel's obvious attempt to diversify their canon for the purposes of cashing-in, is commonly known as the "White God". Not a lot of wiggle room there.
This is what I think as well, which is why I wanted to bring it up. If I suspected a deliberate agenda, I would have brought it up in a whole different tone.

It's media. It's the same as TV, music, books, whatever. It plays into our culture, and how others who are different than us are treated in our culture has a wider implication for our society.
Just imagine if this standard were applied across the entire spectrum of media. No other ethnic groups ever shown, only white people of European descent. How would that effect our wider society, particularly other ethnic groups?

The irony is that the very SJW's who are crying out for DIVERSITY! or "why is there no black person there" are in fact being racist themselves, by dint of singling out a colour. But they won't see it that way. "Utter tosh!" will be the cry in their head. Followed by an outraged reply with a load of waffle as to why I'm wrong.

Those insecurities are obsolete. Present day, the most powerful man in the world is black. Creators can make characters based on their inspirations and not worry.

No, they weren't. The point was not to draw a parallel between a black stormtrooper and a black Heimdall, but to draw a parallel between the outraged reactions of certain people to both. Armour missed that point however.
