Really, i think, power bonus must be only for pledgers. If you're an Archon pledger, you gain the 20% bonus in black market, but add this bonus to an another PP bonus is absurd. If i'm Archon pledger, why i'm authorized to buy slave with 20% discount in Torval space ??? Result is 40% bonus, it's absurd. The solution is to apply bonus only to pledgers, in their space bubble !
For non pledgers, no reason to give them any bonus. They don't take any risk, it s absurd to give them any bonus.

I believe it's being nerfed with this server patch but i did save 1 slave in the hold to sell after the servers are back up just to check.
yeah it is insane how mining, bh, exploration etc all need to be carefully balanced out so players don't make too much money and bam here comes the tripling of trade profits...
Yeah, the question is: to what degree are they 'nerfing' it. Thanks for doing the check! Drinks are on me next time we meet up.
The balance pass says it is stopping the bonus on both, so you will likely get just 20% and not 20% off at Torvals if you are with Archon.
So they are just stopping the bonuses stacking I believe.

Same here, I had just found a system where I could trade between two stationsLiterately managed one smuggling trip before the server notification that they are going offline for the update. Would be just my luck if they nerf the profit now just as i started
lol oh well, we'll see what happens.As long as that is all it is, that's all I have been doing, I have not been stacking the bonuses by going to Torvals and getting and extra 20% off, I also have just been selling as locally as possible to an Independent so I do not get any bonus on that I think either....just the 20% off at the original price is it...?
Also I still have security patrol ships at the outposts I am using so it is not entirely without risk.

I wasn't buying from a system that was giving a price break, but I was selling at an Archon controlled, Federation system black market. Even then it was significantly more profit than my 'old' route (and I was still working a 18.5k-ish cr/ton/hour route).
It's not a huge deal for me since I already have more money than I need. I've just been grinding out my last 175M or so credits for "Elite" in trading, which, as a fairly casual player has taken me quite a long while.
Yeah, they really need to open up beta testing for the masses... maybe give backers "early beta access" or alpha access or something a week or two prior to the "Beta." Can't have these kind of issues where players make 50million in one day or worse yet, the bug is left open all weekend... Really not a good thing no matter how you look at it.

there was definitely a bit of excitement every time I approached the station and wondered "Are they gonna scan me this time?"
My route was basicly the same so I'm hoping it is just the Torval to Archon routes that are nerfed.
damn, i only managed to do 2 runs in t9. profit was over 4mil one way. i hope they don't nerf this.
Yea they are nerfing the ability to stack the 20% bonuses from different faction systems, but you will still get the plus 20% if you sell at a illegal exploited system I should expect still.
